WrestleMania Weekend 2025 Event Schedule & Map
I’m rooting for Banger Zone Wrestling this WrestleMania Weekend.
The Belgium-based company comes to America for the first time in its short history (founded in 2019), piggybacking off a series of shows taking place at the Swan Dive music and event venue.
Shows like this and promotions like Banger Zone Wrestling make this weekend so special, and despite not feeling like WrestleMania Weekend is in its heyday, it’s still tremendously important and valuable.
Banger Zone Wrestling: Viva Las Vegas is a wholly unique show based on what we’re getting the rest of this WrestleMania Weekend.
The likely main event will feature a BZW Championship match between current champion Joseph Fenech Jr. and challenger Arez. This is Fenech’s only booking this WrestleMania Weekend. This is also Fenech’s first time wrestling in America since 2018, when he did a very brief tour of the Midwest, including a few shows I saw live. He’ll be facing off with Arez, who has a polar opposite WrestleMania Weekend schedule with seven total booking,s including three bookings on Thursday before this show. Let’s hope he has something left in the tank.
The main event of this show highlights a mix of talents from Europe, Mexico, America, and Japan, alongside a Michael Jackson impersonator and an inflatable sex toy defending a championship!
Banger Zone Wrestling Viva Las Vegas fits in at an interesting timeslot as well (10 pm PST on Thursday) without a ton of direct competition; the only other shows in the timeslot are La Super X: LuchaMania 2 and MicroMania Midget Wrestling: Las Vegas. Two additional Thursday shows kick off at 11 pm PST—Fighting Evolution Wrestling: Sin City Burn and Marvelous Pro Wrestling. This allows Banger Zone Wrestling to stand out as a Thursday night show. The problem is: I’m not sure how many people are even aware of the company or this show. Hopefully, this preview helps, as I think this is a very fun and unique card on paper.
