New Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual World Tag League returns in 2023, beginning November 20, 2023, with the finals taking place December 10, 2023.
Highlights of this year’s lineup include the NJPW return of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kaito Kioymiya, as he’ll again team with Ryohei Oiwa. The duo first teamed with one another during this year’s G1 Climax tournament and several matches in NOAH this year.
World Tag League 2023 also features representatives from CMLL: Soberano Jr. & Atlantis Jr., a duo of exciting wrestlers who have been among the highlights of CMLL’s resurgent year.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the powerhouse duo of Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona (The Gates of Agony) join the World Tag League mix this year, representing Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling.
