Great, but probably won't make my list. Still need to watch UltimaLucha, but so far this is the very best that LU has to offer. It's wonderfully violent, and very old school Lucha in its brawling elements while new school in the way it integrates the high flying. Muertes is the start here, perfect in all his cut offs and in keeping things simple.

I don't know how much work has been done to this in post-production, but this is one of the best matches ever, to air on a weekly episodic TV show.

Agreed on Muertes being a star, here, but I'm not sure there's much more to praise in a context like this project. It's a fun match, it's a very good match, even, but there's just too many points that keep it down (issues of selling and too much length in the pauses to set up Fenix' hope spots). It's definitely the top highlight from a fed that's on point with its visceral material but there's just a weird disconnect in the promotions ability to produce truly remarkable match quality.

I will vote yes for it to be eligible. It's an insane match and I can't think of a better casket match than this one.

Well to be fair, the casket match gimmick sucks. Was a very low bar to hurdle. Still a great match though, but it probably won't make my list.

It won't make my list either but turning the casket match gimmick from a negative to positive in this case had to be worth something to be eligible for a ballot.

No doubter for my MOTY ballot this year but at the same time I'd have a tough as hell time making a case for it as one of my favorite or one of the greatest 100 matches ever. I'll take it to my long rewatch list but man that seems hard to say right now.

The arguably best thing to hit episodic TV in 2015 (although the Spud/EC3 Hair vs. Hair match is right there) and probably the best casket match ever, but it's not a transcendent match to me. Just a very good one.
