Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
I think the SSS16 is a decent jumping on point, you'll lose a bit of the Ospreay-Havoc feud but to fully understand that you kind of need to go back to basically Chapter 2, and other than that you'll pretty much understand everything going forward.
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Season tickets will be half of every price band they sell, so there will always be some front row tickets available to buy on a show by show basis once the season tickets have been sold.

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
I would suggest starting with Chapter 9 as it is when Jimmy Havoc does the heel turn. His reasons for why he does the heel turn are explained during the angle and in follow up stuff. I'd suggest starting there.dancecab wrote:What show do you suggest is the best start point. I dunno if I can watch everything from the beginning so I need a couple shows sooner and then I'll go back to chapter 1 when I have more time.

Tyler Bate vs. Pastor William Eaver in the Natural Progression Series at Chapter 22.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
I split up the HtPtP thread into a general discussion thread and the original thread as there'd been times where there were multiple pages between HtPtP posts so would have been hard to follow. Feel free to still post in there if you want to comment on that project, but let's move the general PROGRESS discussion to here.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Bate vs Eaver is an awesome matchup. The PROGRESS crowd will love Bate; he's still young but is very naturally talented. I wasn't planning to go to London for this Chapter but that match may convince me otherwise.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Came from a joke Joe made on the podcast, saying that he liked the high workrate british action of Fake Taxi, saying it was comparable to PROGRESS.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
So I decided that I would go back and atleast just watch everything of Jimmy Havoc and Will Osprey leading into watching their 2nd match (and pick up watching full shows from there so I at least watch all of progress 2015 before award season). I was caught sooooo of guard with the Havoc character from the beginning. I would have never thought he would be a great comedy character but he truly was. It makes me even more excited to see how this progresses. Thanks for the how to progress thread because it defiantly comes in handy with the youtube vids. I was dying at his eye of the Tiger video. I think watching from the beginning of both guys is going to make rewatchING Osprey vs. Havoc 3 even more rewarding. I did really enjoy the match on first watch. So now to have more first hand knowledge and not just your podcast should be something of note.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Just watch Osprey vs Haskins from Chapter 21. Awesome match: ***1/4

You're either an incredibly harsh marker or you've missed a star off there mate

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Does anyone know where to buy Progress dvds that will play in the us?
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Think they're region free. Demand PROGRESS is easier in my view.
Grado vs. Mad Man Manson from Chapter 12 for free.
Grado vs. Mad Man Manson from Chapter 12 for free.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Mark Haskins added to Chapter 22!
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Added to Chapter 22: The London Riots team with PROGRESS Tag Champs the Sumerian Death Squad to take on The Origin - Nathan Cruz, El Ligero, Zack Gibson and however many other new members they have. It could be a handicap match either way.
