VOW Flagship (November 29): Call for Questions
Light on topics this week so it's Q&A time. Ask us anything — wrestling or non-wrestling! We'll try to answer each and every question but no promises.
Try to keep it to one question per person.

Let's say that All Elite Wrestling does become a legit company. Who are five guys you think they should intently go after to sign?

Been on an ECW kick, so interested in Joe's opinions on Shane Douglas. Work-wise, character-wise and big picture, whether he's fairly remembered or not.

Re: VOW Flagship (November 29): Call for Questions
Do you think there's any possible method to the madness for why WWE tv has been so terrible lately? Could they possibly be serving up shit now and holding back quality stories and feuds, so that when the new tv deals start up and there's (presumably) more eyes on Smackdown, FOX and WWE can show investors a hard line of ratings improvement that they can attribute to the network change and (on FOX's end of things) the big check they wrote? Am I reaching way too far with that? Is this just their simple ignorance of how to make good tv now? Feel free to laugh me out of the room.
Also, do you think they picked up on the dual "heel for wokes/face for troops" thing they have going with Lacey Evans and decided to apply it to Rhonda (in reference to her bizarrely misplaced "those dang millenials" speak).
Does Jay White have a ceiling in New Japan or does he have what it takes (or at least the potential) to be Kenny's replacement as gaijin champ if necessary?
Will Elite merch do as well as Bullet Club merch did with the Hot Topic crowd? As in, how much do you think casual fandom of the edgy look of the BC shirts had to do with it's explosion of popularity in gun crazy America?
Is AEW a dumb, generic name?

Sure, I'll go for a pedantic set: Are hotdogs, burgers, wraps, tacos sandwiches? If your answer is "No", then explain what makes them different without resorting to "because" or pointing a menu placement. Bonus question: Is a calzone a closed sandwich, and if so does that make a pizza an open faced sandwich?
For an actual wrestling question: What were your thoughts on Chuck Palumbo, Johnny Stamboli, Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire during the early 2000s and wherever they wound up outside of the WWE like AJPW, CMLL, TNA, etc... Do you think they could have thrived in Japan if they'd come up earlier?

Sorry, I'm an idiot, totally missed the one per stip. Whichever you think might have some interesting conversation behind it.Rich Kraetsch wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 1:01 amDo you have a favorite from this list that you want us to answer? We can't do all 5.

1) What do you think about wrestlers like Nia Jax, Angel Demonio, etc being rewarded for injuring others by getting the biggest pushes of their careers?
What sort of an example do you think it sets for other young wrestlers?
2) What will be the future of Ring of Honor now with the Elite promotion announcement ?
3) What according to you (a)should be and (B)Will end up being the main event of the upcoming Wrestlemania ?

Whose Year End Awards show will end up being the best: yours or Omakase's?
(the Super J-Cast version doesn't really count since they only cover one promotion, no need to worry about them).

What is one team you hope will be in this years Toshiwasure! Shuffle Tag Tournament. I am hoping Yuji Okabayashi and Jiro Kiroshio again.
