Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Yeah, not a lot is exciting me outside of the main event in terms of Chapter 21 so far; there's lots of guys that I'm big fans of (Riots, Gibson, Eaver) going against guys I'm indifferent about (Origin, Dennis, Gallagher). That being said, I could have said a similar thing about Chapter 20 and it sounds like that delivered (haven't got around to watching just yet) and I'm a huge Haskins and Ospreay fan so I can't be too down on the show.
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS

Third match on ENDVR:12 on September 13th is Pollyanna vs. Elizabeth.
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Kris Travis vs. Marty Scurll has been added to Chapter 21.
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
ENDVR:12 has a qualifying match for entry into the Natural Progression Series - Jack Sexsmith will take on Australian star Josh Shooter.

Havoc & Robinson perhaps?
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Also announced yesterday - Jinny vs. Toni Storm at ENDVR:12.
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
The last ENDVR:12 match is Kyle Ashmore vs. Darrell Allen.
Mark Haskins promo ahead of the main event with Will Ospreay tomorrow.

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Super good chapter today, especially the last four matches. Could not believe that...
Great character development in Travis/Scurll and...
Very good main event with Ospreay and Haskins, even if I felt Ospreay got a little too much of his shit in for a title match. He'll eventually learn to rein all his aerial stuff in for big matches like that. Tag title match was the best, followed by the surprise No DQ match, and a nice little contender in Gallagher/Eaver.

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Really enjoyed the show despite the prevalence of top knots, in ring and out, and Chelsea chants. So good to see Travis back and a great answer to the SDS Open Challenge. Went with 3 non-fans whose favourite matches ranged from Gallagher/Eaves to the main event. Personally I liked the tag title match.

Chapter 22: Trust, Encouragement, Reward, Loyalty, Satisfaction sold out in 18 minutes, and for the first time for quite a while at the Ballroom, I managed to get front row.

I might be he only one but I think the main event suffered from a slightly burnt out crowd tbh, I know I struggled to get into it at the start after what came before it.

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
I felt the same way. I like both guys but it took me a while to get into and I never felt fully in. Some people had been inside for nearly 6 hours by that point and the surprises, no-DQ match, general length maybe took it's toll.Blueisthecolour wrote:I might be he only one but I think the main event suffered from a slightly burnt out crowd tbh, I know I struggled to get into it at the start after what came before it.
I have seen reviews and comments saying it was the best main event Progress have ever had so we might be the minority view. Or they might be.

I'll be back for Chapter 22, managed to grab tickets in that 18 minute window. Too slow for front row.
Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Judging by various tweets today, Jimmy Havoc is bound for America, and most probably NXT. If Chapter 21 was his last PROGRESS show, that match with Robinson was an incredible and emotional send off.

If true, I feel happy for him but also bummed as that will leave a huge hole in PROGRESS.Oli Court wrote:Judging by various tweets today, Jimmy Havoc is bound for America, and most probably NXT.
