Yeah I'd love some hot takes on this. Will it entail a new vision that's going to create a new dynamic with Bushiroad, or are they happy with Busiroad's influence and looking to see it continue as planned?
When someone buys a struggling company you have to imagine shakeups are on the menu, no?

I honestly have no idea what to think of this news. Do we know if Bushiroad kept their stake?

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??
Someone sent me this on twitter.....
That's Uchida and Honma and Nagata from Oct 12th which is around the same time people claim the 3 week negotiation deal started. I find it incredibly hard to believe Kidani didn't know something. If anything I bet it's more that he told Marufuji to go out and look for another investor and they found someone to buy the majority stake in the company.
We'll find out a little more on Thursday. At the least just the image of NOAH moving slightly away from New Japan/Bushiroad helps. It's important to keep in mind that Bushiroad already owns one wrestling company. I highly doubt they wanted to buy another but that doesn't mean they didn't put a decent amount of money in to it.

So I'm confused will this affect NJPW and NOAH in the future. Like with the storyline with Shibata and the NJPW dads against NOAH.

Charlton is pretty insistent that you couldn't possibly get a deal like this done so quickly and so quietly. Very interesting given Bushiroad's comments.

Short version is he doesn't seem very positive about it. Says he's heard that NJPW has sold their share of the company. Whether he actually knows anything, who knows, but he's certainly in the position to have sources simply by virtue of who he's related to.

Re: Breaking News: NOAH acquired by Japanese IT Firm
I'm not sure if this scenario works out contracts wise but what if Bushiroad sees how successful Nakajima, Marufuji and to a lesser extent Go is under their control and are just going to take them, take back their guys (SZKG) then let the company be sold?
If you believe what others have said they are footing the bill for Shiozaki. Marufuji is not listed as a president or office in any of the releases about this sale and Nakajima is always a weird case. Again, I don't know that this works whatsoever just spit balling.
This could REALLY become something if this is the case. Again, I don't know anything but I suspect Bushiroad isn't selling their stock unless they have a plan to maximize the relationship and what they've been building with (Cross-promotional) over the last few months.
