The first person Okabayashi defended the strong title against after he won it at Sumo Hall last year was.........Kamitani.

The division is really deep right at the moment. Kawakami getting a shot now doesn't mean anything either way. Kamitani will win (and he should) but he has a load of people he can defend against. The biggest of them being Ishikawa to get his revenge for the Ikkitousen final. I'm expecting Hideki Suzuki to get a title shot as well given the way Kamitani beat him heheh......

Kazuki Hashimoto finally makes his return on the 23rd. That means the Big Japan roster will be fully healthy (well for as much as they can be for the style the work) for the first time this year.

Kazuki Hashimoto is better than Daichi Hashimoto so I don't know which one you are talking about.
