He was avoiding a confirmation of everyone's speculation.

Everyone's speculation, in this case, is it's a setup for Hulk Hogan to return, fight off the foreigners, and help out his new black friends.
Re: Let's bury the World Wrestling Federation....
....all of the speculation I've seen alludes to a Bullet Club/Balor Club interference

This is why we shouldn't be mysterious! Or why other people shouldn't be mysterious, I should be more mysterious to appear less dumb (but I have really seen that brought up.)ODonnell wrote:....all of the speculation I've seen alludes to a Bullet Club/Balor Club interference

Gawker jobbed clean. $115 million plus punitive to the Hulkster.

Would The New Day agree to that? They seem the types to refuse to work with Hogan. (I mean that as the strongest of compliments).
Re: Let's bury the World Wrestling Federation....
I kinda knew that Hogan would win the case because of AJ Daulerio being AJ Daulerio. Never liked the guy. Thought he was bush league for looking over Stuart Scott's shoulder at his texts and reporting it. Chickens have come to roost now for him.
Now for Hogan, I think it would be way too soon for him to come back to WWE but I wouldn't be surprised if he came back for Mania and even got a great reaction. I wouldn't cheer him but I'm not like most fans.

I believe he needs another year away for wounds to heal. Original nWo, Christian, and Kurt Angle as the 2017 HOF class headliners in the region they have strong ties to.
Re: Let's bury the World Wrestling Federation....
Raw was pretty much crap outside of Styles/Owens.
So far, here are all the announced participants for the Battle Royal
Heath Slater
Curtis Axel
Adam Rose
Bo Dallas
Big Show
Kane
Other people not doing anything as of yet...
Wyatts (pray for Luke Harper)
Damien Sandow
Darren Young
Diego/Fernando
Fandango
Goldust
Swagger
Ascension
R-Truth
Tyler Breeze
Mark Henry
Re: Let's bury the World Wrestling Federation....
By my count, excluding injured and suspeneded wrestlers, there are only 23 male wrestlers available on the main roster for the battle royal. If they as Truth and Goldust to the Usos/Dudleys match, that will drop things down to 21.rovert wrote:Raw was pretty much crap outside of Styles/Owens.

Which leaves 3 real possibilities:
1) Use NXT wrestlers
2) Bring 1-2 people off the injured list back
3) Use legends
I imagine we'll definitely see at least 2, if not all 3 of these groups used to pad the battle royal.

On the topic of the battle royale
1) They've had 20 man battle royales before, even if it's advertised for 30 cutting it down to 20 wouldn't be the worst change of card travesty WWE has committed (this is the rip on the WWE thread)
2) I agree that the most probable winner, Strowman, shouldn't even be listed on his own individual line.
3) I don't recall and could care less to research but did anybody in last year's battle royale work double duty. In a show that booked deep how awesome would if a babyface expired too much energy in this battle royale coming up short to win it, and then that effort cost him a match later on in the show. (wrong company to book that deep I know)
4) Amazing how this match could go from "I don't care" to a vehicle to make an actual star if someone from the NXT roster were to win it. Just thinking of the Itami travesty last year.

Cesaro pulled double-duty for sure.
