Well we know both shows are airing live on NJPWWorld. I wouldn't be surprised if they are, but I guess we'll have to wait & find out.

Unless ROH is putting the english comm on their website and charging for it. I somehow see them doing this.

Quick update on the talents working these shows: Dave Metlzer reported that Matt Sydal, Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows will be working these shows, and apparently these will be the final NJPW appearances for Anderson & Gallows.

I'm really surprised by all these rumored singles matches, especially since that's not something they usually do on the CMLL tour.

CMLL guys aren't regularly working singles up and down the card at home though, to be fair.

ROH said it was a "personal family issue". Really sucks to hear he won't be there, but family comes first and if he's got issues going on, I wish him the best.

Interesting that it's just Kazarian that's being added, and not Daniels as well (though Daniels could still be there).

Night 1 seems pretty low key compared to night 2 with the exception of the main event. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Castle/Taguchi dynamic play out. Night 2 seems a lot deeper on paper and I really hope that the main event is preview of Honma coming stateside for the ROH shows.

Strong vs. Ishii should be nothing less than amazing. Shibata & reDRagon vs. Bullet Club: Elite should be a ton of fun. Also like Guns & Gallows vs. The Briscoes. I enjoyed their match from War of the Words in NYC two years ago (I attended that show), and I'm sure that'll be a good match as well (especially if Anderson & Gallows continue their streak of good matches as their tenure officially comes to an end).

Lethal vs. Honma should be a blast. The match I'm actually really intrigued by is Yano & The Briscoes vs. Bullet Club: Elite for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles. Now I know they just switched the titles back & forth on the New Beginning shows, but is there any chance they change hands here? It'd be interesting to see if they give Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks more gold (it could go along with their new "Elite" moniker to have more titles).

My only gripe is that I kind of hoped for a KUSHIDA singles match against one of the ROH guys. (Maybe Castle?) KUSHIDA always does so well against foreigners, him in ROH always lights some extra fire into him for some reason. Cheeseburger not on these cards is a missed opportunity but oh well. Should be two fun Korakuen shows none the less.

Justin Liger & Matt Sydal vs. Dalton Castle & Ryusuke Taguchi
FUN~!
Delirious vs. Gedo
NO!
Frankie Kazarian vs. KUSHIDA
This will be a fun undercard clash.
Tomoaki Honma, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Moose & Michael Elgin vs. Cody Hall, Yujiro Takahashi, Tama Tonga & Bad Luck Fale
Disaster in the making.
Katsuyori Shibata, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly vs. The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega
Shibata better carry the shit out of his teammates.
The Briscoes vs. Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson
Could be damn good.
Tetsuya Naito & Jay Lethal vs. YOSHI-HASHI & Kazuchika Okada
YOSHI-HASHI > > > Lethal.
ROH World Television Championship - Roderick Strong (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii
MOTY in the making.
David Finlay vs. Jay White
Don't see the point of this match being here, but whatever, it will be good.
Jushin Liger & Matt Sydal vs. Gedo & Delirious
NO!
Dalton Castle vs. Frankie Kazarian
Okay.
Hirooki Goto, Katsuyori Shibata, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Tama Tonga, Bad Luck Fale, Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson
Could be rather good if they choose to go all-in.
KUSHIDA & Moose vs. Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI
Meh.
Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong vs. YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii & Kazuchika Okada
Obvious fallman here, but hopefully the post mortem of Ishii/Roddy elevates the match.
NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship - Toru Yano & The Briscoes (c) vs. Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks
Hopefully Yano pins Matt via low-blow + sloppy rollup combo.
ROH World Championship - Jay Lethal (c) vs. Tomoaki Honma (!!!!!)
Honma better hit that carryjob button real hard!

Shibata is the major ROH debut and he was planned to face Cole. Strong vs. Ishii is the stiff dream match.

This should lead to O'Reilly vs. Shibata before the end of the year.
