I'll be honest, I'm blown away by Bluestacks. I can use apps on my PC and then go watch some Japanese TV, what a time to be alive!

Anyone else been getting an odd glitch where there's no audio? Had to restart bluestacks a number of times before the sound returned.

Anywho, if I'm reading the schedule right the DDT show with Tana & Komatsu vs HARASHIMA & Ohka is on Samurai in about 10 hours, really looking forward to that one!

Just a heads up to anyone here, today it suddenly stopped working after I had been using it since Sunday. I emailed tech support, he made me a new ID and we went back and forth as I gave him screenshots of the errors but nothing was working. After he asked what I was using and let him know, this is what he sent:

Now I am assuming that it has worked for Morten VH for more than four days so I don't have an explanation, but when the tech dude is telling me it won't work I have to heed his advice, especially since I can confirm at the moment nothing is working (I did all the normal stuff before contacting him like re-installing the app, etc. etc.). Course now I've gotten used to the program and since I have confirmed the app works (since it did work for four days) I am looking into getting a cheap TV box since they really aren't that expensive (under 50 bucks). Plus I have a TV right by my computer. So I emailed him back just asking if there were any brands/models he knows work so I don't buy the wrong one, and he replied back with some that I can get right off Amazon.

Not saying don't give it a whirl, just reporting back my issue.

The exact same problem happened to me today................................ :(

Jimmy wrote almost exactly the same message to me right now.

I told him i'm buying a Android TV Box on black friday sale tomorrow for sure. I've also gotten so used to the program now, and i've confirmed that it really works. So i really want to keep it. I think it's nice of him, to be willing to transfer the money back. I never thought the "IPTV business" would be so legit haha.

Can you share what box he recommended?

He said any 4.0 Quad Core would work. He pointed me to their website for examples but recommended I buy one Stateside as I could get a better deal. Amazon has a slew of 4.2 and 4.4 Quad Core that I am sure will work fine, some look just like the ones on their site.

He kinda has to be nice within a certain window, I payed with PayPal so I don't think I'd have any issue getting my money back if I filed a claim. Not that I would go in with that in mind but Paypal is very buyer-friendly so its in his best interest to be friendly so he doesn't lose future customers.

Thanks i will look into it today. Hopefully i can have everything set up soon. Shouldn't be too expensive.

You're right that he's just providing good costumer service, because it's good business. I just had a predetermined mindset about it being a shady business, that has all been completely proven wrong.

Anyways Jimmy wrote that he'll send me a new id once i've aquired the box. Black Friday couldn't have come at a better time! Can't wait to watch again. And in HD on the TV too!

I think what we can conclude is, Bluestacks is good if you want to use the trial to see for yourself that it actually works.

Unfortunately Bluestacks generates a new random MAC-address every once in a while, in order to appear as a real android device. I think if you can find a way, to get Bluestacks to use the same MAC-address forever, then that should work in theory. But if you're just a casual guy, you'll have to buy an android tv box or an android tablet.

Oh man, that's a total bummer - do any of these boxes work via PC? The fact that I could run the service on my laptop was the only reason I was interested.

Excuse my ignorance when it comes to technology, but would the below box be up to the specs he recommended?:-

Many thanks.

That was one of the bigger reasons for me aswell. I can certainly understand it from your perspective, since you can't do gifs from the box.

I've found some guides out there, that explains how to get the android box connected to the PC. But i can't tell if they work, since i haven't tried myself.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is an Android Box? A quick google search tells me it's basically the same as a Roku/Fire TV/etc.

So basically, it's a TV box that runs Android compatible aps? I'm someone who prefers to watch wrestling on my TV rather than my computer, so this sounds ideal. I'm awake all hours of the night and could watch a lot of this live. $15 per month is essentially free.

That is correct.

You still get the TV archive on the android box as well, so you can watch whatever you want on demand.

Morten, thank you very much for this great tutorial!

Could you please answer me how quickly the TV archive is filled?
Is there an one day delay or is it being filled show after show etc.?

Thanks! :)

I have purchased the iHome2 Apk from Japan Net Tv in June. When I purchased it was not compatible with tablets or mobiles. So I am using it on a M8 Quad Core TV Box. It is working well, but I have to use a VPN service, because without it I have speed problems. (I am living in Hungary so far from the servers.) Furthermore I prefer to watch wrestling in my Laptop and it is much easier to record it. So I continue to search APKs for Japanese TV. And latter I have found a similar program to watch Japanese TV, but it has windows version as well. It has 7 days trial period. You can download it from here:

http://www.rakutv.com/eng/download.html

The only problem is that we can contact with the seller using WeChat only and they accept only bank transfer (no PayPal or credit card). However it is worth to try the windows version for 7 days I think.

Regarding APK I can say that you can not use it in Bluestacks any more, because Bluestacks gives everybody the same ID that has a long expiration date: 31 July 2016. It was the reason that this ID was banned by the producer. However you can install the APK version of the program for Droid4x. You can download Droid4x from here:
http://www.droid4x.com/

After installation of the APK you can choose the "register of new user" and after the filled in the requested data you will receive an ID for 7 Days.

Practically there is no or very short delay.
