Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Have a feeling this is going to be enormous fun live but with the amount of crowd brawling that's going to be involved, maybe not translate that well to on demand/dvd.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Dave Mastiff vs. Jack Gallagher was added yesterday.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Final two matches added to Chaoter 22, on paper this show actually looks better than the last in my opinion, and that went down as a lot of people's favourite show to this point.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
So full card:
PROGRESS Championship Match: Paul Robinson vs. Will Ospreay (c)
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Mark Haskins
Natural Progression Series: Tyler Bate vs. Pastor William Eaver
Sumerian Death Squad & London Riots vs. The Origin (Ligero, Cruz, Gibson + ???)
Dave Mastiff vs. Jack Gallagher
Morgan Webster vs. Marty Scurll
The GZRS vs. Project Rampage
I'm into those top three matches, not sure how the tag war is going to play out, and pretty cold on the bottom three.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Very strongly considering going Chapter 24 in Manchester after being very impressed with the Brit/Euro crew at BOLA and hearing the Ospreay hype pick up steam in recent weeks/months.
Any info on the card or who is pencilled in? Never been to a UK "indie" before and have only seen Progress through Jimmy Havoc on Youtube.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Well usually matches will start being announced after the show before it. But as chapter 23 is only a week before 24 it's anybody's guess.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Jimmy Havoc making his unnanounced return at the Manchester show would be a great way of making the northern chapters seem as important as the Electric Ballroom ones.Empiresk wrote:Very strongly considering going Chapter 24 in Manchester after being very impressed with the Brit/Euro crew at BOLA and hearing the Ospreay hype pick up steam in recent weeks/months.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
They've confirmed there'll be a PROGRESS Title and Tag Title match at the Manchester show, and I think there's a Natural Progression Series match there too.
In addition to this Sunday's show, here's the latest lineup for ENDVR:13 on November 1st...
*Pollyanna & Toni Storm vs. Elizabeth & Jinny
*NATURAL PROGRESSION SERIES QUALIFYING MATCH: Shen Woo vs. Pantera Negra
*Tom Irvin vs. "Bodyguy" Roy Johnson

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Very good show tonight, and already two matches set up for Chapter 23 on November 29th, which I'll put in a spoiler tag...
And also we saw the wonders of Tom Irvin in an Ostrich costume. If you've seen the British version of The Office, you'll know.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
The intro from Sunday's show, with the GZRS, Glen Joseph and his missus paying tribute to The Office (British version).
Added to ENDVR:13 on November 1st, The South Pacific Power Couple of TK Cooper & Dahlia Black vs. Jack Sexsmith & Livvi.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Download night 3 hasn't been uploaded to the on demand service. PROGRESS say 'we don't talk about Night 3'. What happened there?
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Heavy rain I think caused them to abandon it during the first match.Padje wrote:Download night 3 hasn't been uploaded to the on demand service. PROGRESS say 'we don't talk about Night 3'. What happened there?
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Absolute deluge of rain, only about 20 people made it there through the puddles of mud. They did one massive 12 man tag or something for those who made it, and called it a night.
Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Big Daddy Walter returns to PROGRESS for Chapter 23 on November 29th to rematch with Rampage Brown.
Also, a massive Best of Jimmy Havoc comp has just been announced, though I've seen a few people complain about the £70 price tag for the limited edition package.

But if you pre-order it. You get a Jimmy Havoc Lego figure. LEGO!
