I won't use spoilers here BUT, the Tag Titles match and Ospreay vs Havoc were awesome last night, looking forward to seeing how it translates to watching on the screen!

PROGRESS have just announced near monthly Chapter shows in London for 2016, as well as shows every 2 months in Manchester.

http://www.progresswrestling.com/2016dates/

Great for everyone, really. PROGRESS on demand just became better value, and having shows so often will make it easier for everyone to get a ticket. Going to be interesting how the stories go from here. Mastiff, Cruz, Flash look like they're heading to the main event, with Rampage slow-burning his way there too, but in the span of one month* now they're going to have to create enough angles and match-ups for what used to take 4.

*Chapter 27 – 27/03
Chapter 28 – 10.04
Chapter 29 – 24/04

Here's the schedule through to the end of 2016, long term planning right, although I imagine they'll be a couple more shows added as we go (probably some festival shows and more PTNTL shows).

11th August – PTNTL 1 – The Bedford, Balham

27th August – PTNTL 2 – The Bedford, Balham

6th September – Chapter 21: You Know We Don’t Like To Use The Sit Down Gun – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

13th September – ENDVR 12 – The Garage, Islington

18th October – Chapter 22- The Electric Ballroom, Camden

1st November – ENDVR 13 – The Garage, Islington

29th November – Chapter 23 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

6th December – Chapter 24: Hit the North! – The Ritz, Manchester

3rd January – ENDVR 14 – The Garage, Islington

24th January – Chapter 25 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

14th February – Chapter 26 – The Ritz, Manchester

13th March – ENDVR 15 – The Garage, Islington

27th March – Chapter 27 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

10th April – Chapter 28 – The Ritz, Manchester

24th April – Chapter 29 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

15th May – ENDVR 16 – The Garage, Islington

29th and 30th May – Chapter 30: Super Strong Style 16 2016 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

19th June – Chapter 31 – The Ritz, Manchester

26th June – Chapter 32 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

17th July – ENDVR 17 – The Garage, Islington

31st July – Chapter 33 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

14th August – Chapter 34 – The Ritz, Manchester

28th August – Chapter 35 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

11th September – ENDVR 18 – The Garage, Islington

25th September – Chapter 36 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

16th October – Chapter 37 – The Ritz, Manchester

30th October – Chapter 38 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

13th November – ENDVR 19 – The Garage, Islington

27th November – Chapter 39 – The Electric Ballroom, Camden

11th December – Chapter 40 – The Ritz, Manchester

So here's the deal, they're running a London chapter show every six weeks (up from every two months), and added to that they're also running a Manchester chapter show once every two months. They're also going to keep running ENDVR shows every two months, alternating with the Manchester shows, and they're adding PTNTL shows. Throw in some festival shows, add in that SSS16 is a double header and that there's likely going to be more PTNTL shows announced closer to the time and I don't think it's ridiculous that PROGRESS will be running 30 shows next year. Consider that they only ran sixteen in 2014 and eight in 2013 that's quite the jump.

As for what the PTNTL shows are, here's the long explanation. The ENDVR shows were originally designed to give work and practice in front of crowds to the rookies coming out of the Projo. However, lots of the guys who have made it out of there are no longer really "rookies" anymore, several of them are at the point in their careers where they're beyond the school show level. They're getting booked around the country on merit now, and not just getting work because they trained with a certain company, and while some guys didn't shine in their Main Show outings in the NPS there are some guys who have come out of the Projo who are now on a level where they're getting onto the main shows on merit (like my guy Eaver).

If this was almost any other company in the UK they'd simply move on up onto the main shows full time, but the "problem" is that PROGRESS already has a pretty huge pool of talent that they draw from across the country that they already can't get them all onto shows. Even guys who have come out of the Projo who are great (like Eaver) are still not getting booked for every show, and guys like Joey Lakeside who are currently good enough to be a undercarder/midcarder in most UK promotions isn't getting a sniff at a PROGRESS main show. However, leaving the current guys in ENDVR leaves no room for the newer actual rookies coming out of the Projo, the actually intention of ENDVR.

Now the regular route to be taken would be for PROGRESS to let their trainees spread their wings and try to improve so their level of wrestling and name is where they can become PROGRESS regulars, which to a degree they are doing (for example Eaver is now working FPW, SCW, Kamikaze, TCW...) but PROGRESS still wants to give them work. So what they're doing is launching a third tier of shows called PTNTL, below ENDVR, which will serve as the rookie show and ENDVR will be the in-between level, with the guys that are no longer rookies but aren't quite at the top level of the UK scene yet, which is where you need to be to become a PROGRESS regular.

Yeah. They did the commentary live and the file got corrupted. They're going to be redoing the commentary later this month.

Oh definitely. So that we have slightly different viewpoints on it, I'm going to be waiting for the commentary while Oli went ahead and watched it without. Here's his review in case you missed it. http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2015/0 ... 26-review/

Two matches announced for the London Riots...

Chapter 21, they take on The Origin (El Ligero & Nathan Cruz), following the events of the video posted above.

Then at ENDVR:12, they take on Sweet Jesus (Chuck Mambo & Pastor William Eaver).

Rob and I are both very high on Eaver. He's in this year's Natural Progression Series, and his big win over Dar and potentially another big singles win over Gallagher may mean that he's either winning the whole thing or getting eliminated early to set up a bigger feud, as with Ospreay in NPS II.

I'm very indifferent about Gallagher, but I haven't seen enough of him to form a strong opinion. He didn't get much chance to impress in his first Progress match, here's hoping he brings more to this one.

Unless they announce a really big match, (Havoc hasn't got anything yet...) Chapter 21 looks to be a filler show, although Progress is on an absolute role in 2015 and Chapter 18 looked like a filler show but turned out to be great.

I'm thinking (hoping) that Havoc doesn't get anything announced for chapter 21. Doesn't mean he's not going to be on the show but I think for storyline purposes surely now he's lost the title they can finally be rid of him.

In other news apparently chapter 20 is now up on demand with commentary. Not checked it yet but looking forward to it.

I am curious about what's next for Havoc. The context for his continuted employment despite being a reprobate was that he was the champion and they wanted it off him. But now?

I sense Havoc not being announced for this show, he shows up to wreck the main event, and we get a three way in October.
