Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
RevPro TV #19
Match added for the Portsmouth September show: Marty Scurll vs. PJ Black. AJ Styles will also be in action and Bret Hart will be making an appearance.
Undisputed British Tag Team Championship Match: The Thrillers vs. The Revolutionists (Samuels & Castle)
This was a match that was supposed to happen at Summer Sizzler, but Haskins missed it due to a family emergency and McCluskey filled in and lost the belts for the Thrillers. Honestly I found a lot of this pretty boring, despite being a big Thrillers fan. Then we had interference and belt shots for the finish. Urgh.
The post-match was entertaining though, Redmond getting pissed was fun.

That's a match that could be amazing. Haskins is really under the radar good.

Big Damo vs Shinsuke Nakamura
Gedo & Kazuchika Okada v Jushin Liger & Hiroshi Tanahashi

Kushida vs Kyle O’Reilly
Tetsuya Naito vs. Mark Haskins

Global Wars UK
Will Ospreay vs. Kazuchika Okada
Marty Scurll vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
AJ Styles vs Jushin Liger

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
RevPro TV #20
James Castle vs. Ronnie Evans
Both guys are very green and Evans is pretty bad, so this wasn't to good.
Jamie Hayter vs. Zoe Lucas
Nice that after the questionable start to the women's division a few episodes ago they're now putting them in the main event of this episode. It's not like it's a huge deal who main events a youtube episode, but showcasing them in a main event establishes them on a level playing field which is exactly what you want if you're trying to start a legitimised women's division. Lucas has a bubbly cheerleader character, which very much reflects her real life persona from what I've seen. This was going along nicely until the Legion of Lords came out and took out Lucas (Hayter just left). This lead to Zan Phoenix coming out to attack Grey... only for Grey to destroy her.
Wasn't overly keen on this again; when you're trying to establish a division showing them as weaker than a guy who you'd previously presented as a comedy act isn't the best way to go about it.
Not a good episode.

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

Another excellent addition. Kris has just recently returned to wrestling after beating stomach cancer, and before having to take time off he was easily one of the best British wrestlers on the scene so this should be great. Obviously there's a chance he's still a little rusty, and nobody could really blame him for that, but he'll have been back for a couple of months by the time he has this match and at the very least it'll be great to see him back after the injury and has potential to be another excellent match on this already stacked card. I'm looking at the card and there's five matches with a very realistic possibility to go ****+.
Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
I think the York Hall card is complete now with seven matches. If TenKoji are only doing Reading, that probably means they'll do wXw on the Friday.
They're meant to announce Kris Travis' match for Reading on tonight's YouTube show.

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
Styles vs. Haskins in Portsmouth on the 28th for RevPro. That's a fantastic match, I'm really looking forward to it. The Wolves are also added to that show. Kris Travis vs. KUSHIDA vs. Tetsuya Naito also added to Global Wars UK.
The returns to RevPro of Haskins and Travis have really helped the domestic roster of RevPro in terms of guys who can put on great matches, for a while there it was kind of just Scurll and Ospreay + special attractions. That's not a slight to guys like Bodom as I'm a big fan but he's still improving and not quite there yet. Having Travis and Haskins back in the fold to add alongside other guys who have fantastic matches like Ospreay, Havoc and Scurll mean you have a good range of top level guys to put in there with the fly-ins. Then add in some very good workers like Williams, Redman, Damo and Bodom and the domestic roster is the strongest it's been perhaps ever in RPW's history. Now if only they'd start booking the London Riots again...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
These RPW/NJPW shows in October look really good on paper. Can't wait to see them!

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
John Morrison/Johnny Mundo added to the September 18th show in Broxbourne and the September 19th show in Southampton.
Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
First match for August 30th in Sittingbourne - Morgan Webster vs. Josh Bodom.

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
You beat me to that by seconds. All these RPW shows through to October are looking stacked. Previously a lot of RPW shows that weren't the York Hall shows have pretty much been duds, but they seem to have been stepping up (at least in terms of the cards) lately.

Is Ricochet actually going to make it this time?themib wrote:

This week's show has The Wolves vs. 2 Unlimited from February's Sittingbourne show.
Confirmed for the next Sittingbourne show on August 30th at the end of the episode - Eddie Edwards vs. Jimmy Havoc, and Davey Richards vs. Mark Haskins, which might be a British Heavyweight Title match if Haskins wins the title from AJ Styles two days before in Portsmouth.

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
Two potentially amazing matches, very much looking forward to both of them.
Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
Quick question regarding the relationship between NJPW & RPW...
So we've seen New Japan include talents from promotions they've partnered with on New Japan events, such as CMLL, N.W.A, and more recently, ROH. When do you think we'll start seeing some British Talents from RPW make their way to New Japan? It's bound to happen at some point, right? I think Will Ospreay would be a great addition to next year's Best of the Super Junior's Tournament.
