The 15th Anniversary tag match was all kinds of fun. Ohtani was great as the dog-eared never say die veteran.

yeah I enjoyed it. Amazing how well those guys all still work together. Always a treat to watch a big Zero 1 match every so often. The ring announcer is so good - he gets me pumped!

Does anyone have list of good to great matches that Zero1 had this year other than the matches that have been listed?

Zero1 announced at today's Korakuen show that they will go back to running Korakuen monthly in 2017.

The big Korakuen feud has arrived. Zero1 vs NOAH

Looking at Zero-1's loyalist contingent on cagematch atmo.

Besides Yokoyama (28), Yusaku Obata (32), Takuya Sugawara (33), Shinjiro Otani (44), Masato Tanaka (43), Kohei Sato (39), Ikuto Hidaka (44), James Raideen (25), and KAMIKAZE (45).

Man, that's such a small roster for a company that had such a mega start. I love Otani, Tanaka, Hidaka and Sato, but man is that company nothing without them. This, "All Japanese indies share talents on some level" stuff can be a hindrance sometimes.

Zero1 drew 328 at Korakuen today. He's dead, Jim.

Yusaku Obata lost the world title today to Masato Tanaka. But it was not the planned finish (that we know) but he suffered heat stroke mid match and the ref stopped the match so he could be sent to the hospital. No idea how serious it is and how long he will be out

Masato Tanaka (43),
Someone must be off, English wiki has him right at 45.

Also, for 45 and someone who can still go in singles, he sure is developing into an oddball tag worker: tag champs with Hino (I get they're in the same stable, I just think the dynamic between them is weird), tag champs with Kuroshio (...), possibly going to be trios champs with Kanda & Yoshida (?). Man still knows how to hustle...and make friends while doing it!

Well in fairness he has grown older since 2016. :D

Assuming that what he announced at today's show is true, a hearty congrats are in order for Mr. Tanaka...

Catching up on this promotion's 2018 stuff. It's easy, because like 6 complete shows have made tape.

Cool little feud between Kohei Sato & Yuji Hino. Sugi has without a doubt added some much needed juice. The Obata injury/title switch didn't even make tape as far as I can tell.

I've enjoyed Super Tiger's stuff.

Too bad nothing makes tape, because what i've seen has all been decent.

Sugi is a dude to build a junior division around, IMO. He's small no doubt, but some of his stuff is incredible.

Did you see any of Chris Vice's matches? What did you think of him?

I'm not sure if I already mentioned this to you, but there was an excellent Masato Tanaka/Chris Vice vs Yuji Hino/Hartley Jackson match at a Korakuen show. Chris Vice looked great in that.

I think you might have. Only match I've seen is the one where he won the UN title, and the clip of him getting his head caught on his opponent's tights that made Botchamania.
