It looks like for the next Korakuen, they are gonna put Yoko Bito be the de facto main eventer since she has the white belt and Toni is not on tour. I think they should Hiroyo Matsumoto beat Toni and let her carry the belt until Mayu comes back. It would mean more cause Hiroyo doesn't job and she went to a draw with Toni early in the year.

I doubt Io will get a red belt reign again cause of her neck and she's always a risk of leaving Stardom.

Hiroyo is great, that makes sense. I thought Io's neck was the reason she wasn't leaving Stardom? Or you mean she might retire?
Io could leave both ways. If her neck gets better, WWE will definitely offer her a contract again. If her neck gets worse like her sister's neck got worse, retirement wouldn't be out of the question either. She's already lasted 10 years and has done a lot in her career except that WWE spotlight.
Ah I see. I guess it's full steam ahead with the next generation, then.

Definitely. Finally got round to watching it and holy hell, it might be the best paced match this year. I went ****3/4. Just over 20 minutes of bombs being thrown around, and probably Hashimoto's best performance yet. Hopefully she has a long dominant reign. Rest of the show is heavily clipped and pretty forgettable but the main event is worth anybody's time.

Actually Hiroyo murdered a child, that was pretty cool.

Tam and Kagestu are full time with Stardom now but they've been full time with Stardom anyway this year.

Also Nanae Takahashi is teaming with TARU against Chigusa Nagayo and Masato Tanaka in an exploding barbwire deathmatch which I think is Nanae's first ever.

They're fantastic.

The recent Sendai Girls show is a show of the year contender, for me. 3 straight matches I had at ****+. Great show.

Just finished the TJP Korakuen show and based on the second half of the card it might be my favorite show of the year so far.

Just watched this one last night and I have to agree, those last three matches were absolutely excellent.
