Did you see Ishii vs KUSHIDA and Ishii vs Ibushi for the NEVER title? Those were some great junior challenges for the NEVER title.

Fujita does not appear on that list of IWGP Heavyweight champs that plays before the title matches... does anyone have any idea why?

Cody booked in Texas on 2/4, so New Beginning in Sapporo 2/5 is off the table. Osaka on 2/11 a possibility for him.

Meltzer says that Oka is finally going to debut on the 1/3 fan fest show at Differ Ariake against Nagata. Hopefully they have that as a separate match on New Japan world as I'm very interested in watching it.

Yeah, it'll be streamed on World live.

PWInsider:
The current plan is for New Japan Pro Wrestling to run the first two nights of the 2017 G-1 Climax tournament in July at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

New Japan star Rocky Romero and George Carroll, a New England based independent wrestling personality who did some website work for Ring of Honor, were recently in Long Beach doing ground work for the dates.

NJPW traditionally announces major dates for the year during the 1/4/17 Dome show.
But as I said on Twitter:

Personally PWInsider seems to be deliberately posting erroneous information. Those shows aren't G1 shows and Mike Johnson is greatly downplaying George's role in ROH - I think even contradicting his own reporting about George.

Kidani is a fucking mad man.

Please people listen to me when I say that wrestling turns ugly in 2017.

They don't have a US office yet and won't for a while. AXS is a fairly weak station. G1 shows in 2017 is a fairly tall task Year One. Just think through all the operational stuff and practicalities.

Like the old version of madman who's reckless and ends up self-destructing, or the new meme version of madman who outfoxes the competition against all odds? The worst part of wrestling news is having to be so cryptic. I don't think I'd be able to handle it.

I have to disagree with you about AXS TV. They are on Direct TV/DISH Network, Comcast, FIOS, AT&T.
Who's Rob Viper ?
