Mine was fine, did you watch the show live?

CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) join the IWGP Tag Team Championship match to make it a 3-way and the new CHAOS team in the NEVER 6-Man gauntlet match is YOSHI-HASHI, Will Ospreay and Jado.

I'm afraid that helps neither match.

Downgrade on both fronts.

Agree on the NEVER 6-man, though I suspect that the extent of Jado's involvement will be doing a few chops and eating a pin. I think that the potential for Ishii/Honma makes the IWGP Tag an upgrade, but I know how you feel about tag matches with more than two teams.

Yeah, I hate the three way dynamic and it shits on the WTL booking.

As far as the gauntlet it won't be THAT big of a deal, but you're still replacing one of the best wrestlers in the world with one of the worst major league wrestlers in the world.

Two of NJPW's roster that spent the least amount of time in NJPW (not counting Suzuki-gun) get rewarded for their absences by getting title matches at NJPW's biggest show of the year.

Ok, seems legit.

Honestly, I would have been fine with Yano and Ishii getting title shots at New Year Dash and he could have done the New Japan Rumble. Meanwhile, Jado subbing for Ishii in the 6-man feels like a punch to the gut.

I can't believe that the thing ruining a Guerrillas Match won't be the Guerrillas themselves. And Poor Ishii. Having to team with Goddamn Yano.

Oh god fucking Yano and Jado are having high profile matches at the Dome. Fuck that. And I guess this has to make Ishii and YTR favorites in the 3 way match, right?

NJPW's twitter-based fanvote

MVP - Naito

Best Bout - Naito vs Omega

Not a huge vote by any means but still, the picks feel representative.

There was no doubt in my mind about the MVP but I'm kinda surprised by the Best Bout, not that Omega x Naito wasn't really great but I'd have thought Okada x Tana might have gotten it.

I'm not going to lie. The addition of Yano into the Tag match has kinda made me less looking forward to the tag match. GOD and GBH was so unexpectedly great that I was really looking forward to the rematch.
