I remember Kenny Omega saying he is recommending technical juniors for NJPW rather than traditional high-flyers in that interview, possibly last week, like Sam Callahan/Solomon Crowe. Marty Scrull certainly fits that bill.
I was talking with a friend earlier and said I hoped Ospreay and Scurll got booked for BOSJ. There's a few matchups for both of them that I think would be a lot of fun.

i hope BOSJ is more representative of more company's this year...there is so many good juniors out there that tournament could be crazy stacked and tons of really great matchs.

So what's up with Tanahashi? I hear he suffered some kind of shoulder injury?

Dislocated shoulder. That's all we know for now, should have more information on his status in the next few days.

Just adding in Bushi, Kamaitachi and probably retaining Cavernario if he's going to be staying for a bit, will keep things pretty fresh. Matt Sydal has feinted signing with NJPW and tweeted that he wanted to be in the tournament around that time last year. Possibilities open for a Trevor Lee, Will Ospreay or some other American/European talent to come in for a stint sound really enticing.

Lee being connected to TNA might screw that up for him

From five Aces (which would probably means you're cheating in a card game) down to two and potentially one if Tanahashi's diagnosis isn't good. It all falls on Okada, a guy who was a Young Lion not to long ago, who promised to change New Japan (according to Yoshitatsu). My question is, will they need to rely on Nagata, Nanakishi and Tencozy to pick up the slack? Because an internationally renowned journalist told me that we may have to panic if that happens.

Just saw on Twitter that David Finlay says he's done in Japan in May. Would he really be going on excursion this soon after introducing new Young Lions and having Tanaka and Komatsu head off?

His contract might be up by then.

If they're actually building to a Naito/Milano Collection AT match I'm all in.

That must mean he's well enough to wrestle. If so, I'm down, I never got to see him do his thing when he was active.

Give what Milano retired with I don't think he's coming back but I'd cry if he did. Think this is just him and Naito fooling around.

Naito saying he resigned with New Japan is some hilarious troll job however.
