Yes also curious to know why he went home early, all I read was "family" issues but we all know that's not how it went down. I haven't heard very much on it and usual this kind of thing isn't public but im curious if anyone has heard anything.

From what I have heard it was behavior issues

The info from Japan is that he is not that interested in being there and attitude problems.

So "family issues" became the cover up.

I'm sorry, did Atsushi Aoki force him to go to Japan via chickenwing?

Why the hell come then, weird. Oh well, someone that doesn't want to be there and serve under our lord Uncle Jun isn't what All Japan needs. Hopefully this new Malta guy can work out. Also hope that Danny Jones can be brought back in, hes improved a lot since last year.

I have to think one of the reasons Sai & James won the tag titles was to give James some credibility for that Triple Crown challenge.

Also I was told Bodom broke a window. So yeah, behavioral issues.

Lowkey sweating at the idea of Morishima popping up in All Japan once he has returned to action

Kind of sounds like he'll just be freelance and pop up where he pleases. Which is perfectly fine, cant assume he would do full time tours but I read he wants to do super heavyweight matches, and All Japan definitely has some big bodies to go around!

Morishima would be weird to see in AJPW. Could have some fun with the GAORA TV Championship, though.

Perfect spot for this old fucker. The lineage of wacky AJPW midcard title reigns continues. Ofc the match wasn't much but I did like that he had to bust out the mist twice for this.

Aoki vs Iwamoto was alright, in the range of *** 1/4 ~ *** 1/2 or something like that, was kinda sleepy while watching (plus I watched the G1 show before this, so... kinda hard to follow that). I would be fine with Iwamoto having a long chase before winning the belt, but that would require something interesting happening on top while he's not there. I think Aoki is fine but he's not what we need as champion after the waste of time the Jr. division was following Sato's title win from Ishii. Hopefully the Jr. Tag battel heats things up and some guy like Takeda or Mochizuki gets a title shot afterwards to make the juniors more interesting.

Props to AJPW on the house they drew too, even though the card wasn't strong 1400 people showed up.

Would the matches really be that different with Iwamoto as Junior champ if everyone else in the division is still there?

I think it would be an improvement if he was the champ; it would at least be something new. But I agree that it's not like it would be the saving grace or anything.

Throwback match I just found on Youtube. Clipped obviously, but man were those fans hyped for a Isao Takagi match. Go go Arashi!
