Can somebody help me understand the differences between Elite and CMLL?

Elite is an indie promotion that has rental deal from CMLL. CMLL gives them Arena Mexico and allows them to book CMLL wrestlers for some (sizable) fee. Elite uses both to produce a TV show for Azteca 7 in Mexico.

Elite's TV tapings usually have about 6-10 CMLL wrestlers involved, and the rest are billed as Elite wrestlers. In truth, only Caristco, Cibernetico and maybe a few others are bound to Elite, and the rest are working per night. (Elite allows CMLL to use their wrestlers as part of their deal.)

(Elite is not acronym for anything, I capitalize it out of habit)

Wanted to know anybody else saw the Michael Elgin/Ultimo Guerrero match that happened on 7/10?

I might buy it for a dollar since Cubsfan said it was great.

Yeah, I very much enjoyed it. Too bad there was absolutely zilch else on that card. But for only $1 I can't say it's not worth it. It'd have to be your generic nothing happening card like Tuesday's Arena Mexico show to even suggest $1 is too much. :p

Anniversary Show announced for 9/2. Press conference on Wednesday should fill in details of what the big match is & whether they intend to split the major show into two big shows on 9/2 & Independence Day (9/16).

Forget wanting to be in two places at one time, I'd like to be in 3 on 9/2. Live at BOLA, near a computer watching HD Anniversary Show & live in Easton watching my man Aero Star in the Rey De Voladores.

Looks like its going to be La Mascara vs Dragon Lee Mask vs Mask as the Main Event of the Anniversario show. I really hope that they don't let La Mascara take Dragon Lees mask to set up La Mascara vs Rush Mask vs Hair. That would make CMLL the dumbest promotion in Mexico and that is saying something looking at AAA right now. This has to be Dragon Lees big win and moving up the card towards main event.

The guy this thread is named after & the only current babyface hero in professional wrestling Volador Jr. had a damn psychotic match last night well worth checking out. Finish is very YMMV but I don't think is enough even if you despise it to discredit the performance both guys had. Excellent match. I'm a little afraid to see how they try and top it next week (title rematch). This time I won't offer up any crazy spot suggestions!

I was starting to love the match until the finish. I can't stand Tirantes so that didn't help. Hopefully, next week will be better.
