man, that Ilya vs Zack match could be so special. I'm inclined to say it's coming at the exact right time (and not too soon) for Ilya. He seems like a man on a mission and if he goes in there full of piss & vinegar against Zack I think he will turn alot of heads. I am so excited for that.

I know all the Block B 1st round matches and two of the Block A 1st round matches and honestly think it's been laid out perfectly. When they announce the matches, I'd imagine you'll all see what I mean.

I'm guessing that with a 3-day tournament, this is single-elimination right?

I got thrown off when I saw 'World Tag League' and the blocks because it's so similar to AJPW's Real World Tag League.

Announcement of the first round matches. The video is in German, but I think the main points are understandable regardless. Also the winners of the tournament are apparently going to win the tag titles, which takes quite a bit of intrigue from the tournament. Some interesting match ups though, especially potential matches in the second round. We'll most likely see Doc & Gallows vs Walter & Sabre Jr, if anyone can drag a good match out of the Bullet Club it's those two guys. Summerian Death Squad vs reDragon has the chance to be the best match in the tournament.

Yes, Team PROST cut a promo on the last Oberhausen show saying they want to defend the tag team title in every of their tournament matches. Jakobi then said that he's making it easier: The tournament winner gets the belts. So basically what All Japan does every year right before the Real World Tag League.

Shows are usually up at vimeo within a week.

I can only recommend to at least watch Day 2 & Day 3 of the World Tag Team Tournament. Day 1 wasn't a bad show either, but it really got going on Saturday. Just overall an awesome weekend that saw the birth of ZACK DADDY (™ me).

ZACK DADDY (Big Daddy Walter & Zack Sabre Jr.) vs. Daisuke Sekimoto and a partner of his choice was announced for December 12th in Oberhausen!

Alan has been teasing me with this match since August and buddy, you didn't promise too much.

Hey Alan, can't you pull some strings and get a big name in for a Hamburg show? ;)

I'd love to come down from Denmark and watch a wXw show some day! But going down further south than Hamburg, would make it impossible for me to drive home again on the same day.

Daisuke's partner just confirmed as being Axel Dieter Jr., should be a great battle!
