I just realised that Alberto & Caristico are going to be in the same building for the first time since the AAA fiasco :?

Does anyone have an on sale for the coventry mexico show? Or is the thinking that it's better to leave it nearer the time due to question marks on certain talents?

No way this happens as is, skeptical they even told these guys they were going to be in a tournament together before they announced it - people would've already pulled out or been pulled out by their promoter if they knew.

Well What Culture just released another video about the Mexico Block at the Coventry and it looks like most of these guys are still ready 2 rumble. Sadly that El Patron/Caristico reunion will have to wait as the latter was replaced by Juventud Guerrera.

There's two co-promoted matches on Monday's Exit Wounds show that's airing live on YouTube - Ring of Honor are providing Delirious vs. Silas Young (seriously), and Revolution Pro are providing David Starr vs. Marty Scurll.

They've announced the match-ups in the Mexican leg of the tournament too:

Rey Mysterio vs Alberto El Patron
Pentagon Jr vs Rey Fenix
El Ligero vs Drago
Juventud Guerrera vs El Hijo Dos Caras

Very excited about the second and third matches.

I had a look at ticket demand this morning and it's pretty grim. http://iceaccount.co.uk/events/tickets?events_id=4449 Loads of front row left all over. In our block (C, the best block. The block you want), there's 5 front row left (£60). ALL of second (£50), third (£40), fourth (£35), fifth (£30), and then a few left on the 6th (back, £20) row where we bought 5 tickets yesterday. That's the busiest block currently.

WCPW announced the Canadian bracket:
Michael Elgin
Kyle O'Reilly
Harry Smith (AKA Davey Boy Smith Jnr)
Rene Dupree
Tyson Dux
Brent Banks
Tarik
Franky the Mobster

No matches announced there. Rene Dupree being booked was a shock considering i remember the flagship mentioning him recently and when I cagematched him, he's been pretty quiet. So stoked to see Harry Smith thou. Happy for Brent Banks, Tarik & Franky to get the opportunity. I enjoy all three of them alot.

Especially when you consider SMASH Wrestling is running a show in the afternoon with Jeff Cobb Vs. O'Reilly and Sabre JR Vs. Elgin. IT's going to be a pretty crazy day.

Would have been interesting if they got Mike Bailey though.

For sure. I thought he would have been a given in the tournament but aparently not. I'm very curious if he has a prior booking stopping him from joining the tourney since he does work SMASH pretty often as well. Maybe something DDT related.

How good is Franky the Mobster? I hear he was a big deal 8-10 years ago?

I enjoy his work alot. He's an unsual comedy worker given his appearance but it works amazingly well. I would highly suggest looking up his match with Dalton Castle at SMASH wrestlings Something Different. IT was alot of fun. He can get vicious when needed though. He's not the most flashy guy in terms of offence but utilizes his power and personality really well.
