Rush vs LA Park and nothing comes close.
Re: Feud of the Year
Shibata/The Dads
Okada/Naito (or CHAOS/LIJ)
Kenny Omega/Michael Elgin
American Alpha/The Revival
Will Ospreay/Marty Scurll
Will Ospreay/KUSHIDA
Roman Reigns/AJ Styles
Finn Balor/Samoa Joe
YAMATO's face turn has been my favorite story, not sure if there's enough there to put it in my feud of the year list.

Re: Feud of the Year
Really struggling to come out with any outstanding feuds in the promotions I watch this year. No feud seemed to dominate an entire promotion for a sustained amount of time.
Naito vs Okada was great when you consider all the LIJ vs Chaos tag matches we got.
I have enjoyed Miz vs Ziggler in recent months.
Sami vs Owens produced some excellent matches and moments.
I can think of some great storytelling involving multiple guys such as YAMATO becoming "The Face" of Dragon after being turned on in Verserk or the rise of Marty Scurll as a top guy in PROGRESS as "The Villain", but nothing worthy of Feud Of The Year. Very intrigued to see what comes out in the top 5 for this award.
I think we all know what is winning worst feud of the years though..

Re: Feud of the Year
Char/Sasha is in the running too.
Re: Feud of the Year
1. Sasha/Charlotte
2. Omega/Elgin
3. Daniel Bryan/Miz ft. Dolph Ziggler
4. AJ/Cena
5. Samoa Joe/Finn Balor
6. Cole/O'Reilly
7. Naito/Okada
8. Shibata/NOAH
Also, surprised at the lack of love for Yoshitatsu vs BONE SOLDIER

Re: Feud of the Year
Any listed in the post above me are great candidates for my #2 vote but I don't see how you can vote anything but Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz as #1
Re: Feud of the Year
I still think the larger CHAOS vs. LIdJ feud, including Naito/Okada, is the defining feud of 2016 to me.
Unless you consider that too large to be fair, but I think it fits.
The problem with others is that other 2016 high points were spread across multiple feuds. A.J. had a HELL of a year, but I don't feel like the Ambrose or Cena feuds win the entire year on their own. Same with Omega: great year, but I wouldn't say he had one Beast-Of-The-Year feud, although maybe he would've if Tanahashi didn't get injured.
Shibata as well. I think the Shibata vs. Third Generation feud is up there, but it dovetailed into a separate feud, the team-up vs. NOAH, which while great appears to have been blown up by the Entbee/NOAH buyout. But it's two different feuds.
The CHAOS vs. Ingobernables one was the highest watermark of any one feud. It just depends on whether or not you think it counts since it encapsulates one big feud plus other interactions.

Re: Feud of the Year
I like the LIdJ vs. New Japan idea. When you think about it Naito's feud has never really been with CHAOS or even Okada for that matter, Okada was just the 200million Yen poster boy for Kidani and what New Japan wants to present. The real feud going on here is between Naito and the system.itsberlo wrote:1. Scurll vs Ospreay

Re: Feud of the Year
LIJ vs CHAOS as an all-encompassing feud may have been one of the best match quality feuds in a year period ever. Singles and tags!

Naito was bullying NJPW announcers, throwing their belts around and ended up facing Tanahashi at WK11.
