I like the people claiming this all because HHH is an idiot who tries to lowball all the best wrestlers in hopes that some will stick. I'm not really surprised that a guy like Kota Ibushi didn't sign up for a restrictive WWE contractwac wrote:It's interesting that the two names people automatically assumed were going to the finals are the two guys it's been leaked aren't signing.Uhaacrewz wrote:Yeah I think it's very doubtful about Ibushi winning, especially after what occurred during the G1 finale. Although I still wouldn't 100% rule out WWE telling him to work people. Afterall, Metalik is still said to be denying he has officially signed, even after he was announced on Raw.Rainmaker_F7 wrote:Ibushi said that WWE was a great experience, but he is going back to Japan after CWC ends. Which means that he is not winning. Or he is working us all and he is winning the whole thing. But that's very, very unlikely.
Obvious pick would be Metalik/Dorada, since he is an excellent wrestler and he's signed a contract.

Great stuff. When Cedric and Ciampa were wrestling each other I thought 'this reminds me of when ex TNA guys would get fuck TNA chants at indies' then I realised Ciampa was in TNA. Anyway I hope there is a crazy cruiserweight six man tag on RAW

triple h ft kanye west: all of the lights.
Re: WWE Cruiserweight Classic
Hopefully in the next year Mark Andrews will complain about still being called Mandrews and Josh Matthews can tell him to quit.
Re: WWE Cruiserweight Classic
Smart use of Sabre and Ibushi to have them put over people they're going to showcase of Raw.
Metalik was great in this, but him not winning was not a surprise after they pulled the cruiser title. He still has bookings scheduled through October. WWE is not going to want to have their champ be someone who could be taking pinfalls in other places.
I hope Kalisto being shown in the crowd means they going to do a Swagger with him.

Re: WWE Cruiserweight Classic
Does anyone have any guesses on who they think will be in next years? Some random names I have been tossing around are Pete Dunne, Fred Yehi, Sammy Guevara, Dragon Lee, Jason Kincaid, Peter Kassa and Matthew Riddle.

Maybe the alternates from the first CWC:itsberlo wrote:Does anyone have any guesses on who they think will be in next years? Some random names I have been tossing around are Pete Dunne, Fred Yehi, Sammy Guevara, Dragon Lee, Jason Kincaid, Peter Kassa and Matthew Riddle.

I personally expect a lot of people to follow Cedric and Ciampa's lead and will leave ROH over the next 9 months or so.

A healthy Amazing Red? Ricochet has to be a favorite, LU ends in June, tourney starts in July. No way they can enforce that 6 month thingitsberlo wrote:Does anyone have any guesses on who they think will be in next years?
