Prominent northeast indie guy is telling people he's been told that he's in. He's disliked in some circles, but he's a pretty awesome talent with a great look.

Needs to spend some time in an ice bath first to cool off some of that nuclear heat.

The first name that comes to mind when I hear prominent northeast indie cruiserweight disliked in some circles is AR Fox, which would be surprising

Thirty Two guys is a lot of people.

Are they looking at free-lancers only or have an agreement with a company or two?

Also, a coincidence that David Finlay announced he is leaving New Japan in May and this starts a month or two later in the company his Dad works..

Take the best cruisers that have

a) been mentioned as trying out within the last 4-5 months for NXT

or

b) work for WWNLive

And you have probably 32 names right there.

So look for Rich Swann & AR Fox to make an appearance, i'd say.

I'd put the odds at less than even money that he wins it.

I really want to hate this announcement, because it's yet another case of NXT doing stuff to hurt other companies.

Then again, i shouldn't care about the politics behind, because the product is so great.

As we always say, there's hundreds of wrestlers waiting to take their places that are probably just as good and in some cases better.

That's very true.

It can be hard to accept when your favorite wrestlers leaves your favorite promotions sometimes.

But it's also great that there's another place that creates jobs and opportunities for others. And those who doesn't make it will be bigger stars for the indy promotions afterwards.
