I'm expecting big things out of Kalisto/Alberto. Don't give a shit about the Rumble Match and who could win.

I can't imagine Brock Lesnar lasting in a wrestling match for an hour.

To add to everyone's dreading of tonight. Jerry Lawler confirmed on his Twitter he's not on the broadcast team tonight. He's doing the pre-show panel. We're getting the regular RAW announcing team, which means we're stuck with Byron. At least I can laugh at how bad King is, Byron just feels like an added shill, something we don't need because we already bought the PPV.

Lawler actively takes away my enjoyment of a show, so I'm very glad he's not behind the announcers booth.

Byron really doesn't add or take away anything in my opinion. Lawler and JBL together usually isn't that great, so this isn't upsetting.

Mania booth should be Cole, Mauro and Graves. Not happening, but I can dream.

Lawler apparently has been working as a heel commentator on SD, which sounds pretty good, tbh. I was looking forward to hearing it for myself to see if it was good tonight but I guess Byron is going to best heel King.

Judging from the episode of Smackdown I watched, Lawler being heel consisted of interrupting Ranallo whenever he tried to say anything useful. Byron is mostly a non-entity, and I vastly prefer that than someone who actively makes the product worse.

Random, uneducated guess - either Styles or the Rock comes out as #31 and throws Reigns out. Whichever doesn't, gets Brock at Mania.

Officially predicting that the Rumble goes on beyond even 31 entrants. McMahon sending person after person out to keep it going, until Reigns is eliminated.

Further uneducated guesses - beyond Rock and Styles, tonight marks the debut/returns of Zayn, Cesaro, Orton, Bryan, Balor, Rollins, Angle and Cena. Or, at the very least, one of them. To paraphrase Bryan Alvarez, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't, but if it does, I told you it would!

Ambrose is so neutered in this company but some of the blame still needs to fall on his shoulders. He always seems to be going through the motions in his matches. He had some great momentum, Post-Shield, but he's just such a character of himself now.

Agreed. Doesn't help that he's basically just "the weapons guy" at this point. Zero interest in what he does now.

Oof. Kalisto looked awful here. Too bad because Del Rio was doing some of his best work since coming back.

Horrible plan to debut Styles in that situation. The entrance went as expected but then he wasn't able to really stand out in that type of match. Never hit the Clash. The crowd really wanted to lose their shit for him but he didn't really have any prolonged spots. Owens was the right guy to elminate him but AJ should have been 25-30 if they just had to have him in the match.
