So I wonder if this was a case where her deal was up and WWE didn't have to keep her around or if it is a situation where they'll get heat for firing her.

I honestly don't know
WWE has released Sara Lee, 24, who won the 2015 Tough Enough competition. The release was initially reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet and has been independently confirmed by PWInsider.com. Lee earned a $250,000 one year contract with the company in late August via her TE victory. Lee, who entered the competition with a powerlifting background but was a novice to professional wrestling, was overwhelmingly popular with viewers of the show and voted the winner.

Lee and WWE NXT star Wesley Blake recently announced on social media that they were expecting their first child. PWInsider is told that Lee did not request her release and that the company made the decision to cut her from the roster. Lee was informed Friday.

Lee's one year deal would have expired in late August/early September depending on when she officially signed it. Her Tough Enough victory was 8/25/15. She wrestled and lost to Alicia Fox that evening, making it her lone televised WWE bout. Lee had not made her official WWE NXT TV debut but had been working live events.

Lee becomes the second member of the 2015 Tough Enough cast to be released, following ZZ Loupe. 2015 TE Male winner Josh Bredl, Mandy Rose (who has appeared on Total Divas and NXT since the competition), Daria Berenato (who recently made her NXT TV debut) and Mada Abdelhamid remain part of the NXT roster, training at the WWE Performance Center.

Still a superior TE winner over Silent Rage or Linda Miles.

Two new Dusty Teams:

Starting to scrape the bottom a little bit, but both are inoffensive, and should be short lived. Curious to see if there's anything to Bin Wang besides him being a diplomatic prop for the company.

As for Swann/Jose, they can both go in the ring, but I suspect some obnoxious comedy is in store. I do live variety, though, so I like that both have different flavors.

If they want to destroy their relationship with China, they should job out Wang/Lun to Itami/Ibushi in the first round.

Sad about CJ Dunning. One of better looking women ever signed and had an athletic background.

I'm all for NWJ and Swann, that'll be a fun as hell team. I love both guys.
Lun/Wang though.... ugh. Wang wasn't bad at all... but Lun.... yeah... we all pretty much have the same opinion on Ding Dong

Oh, did I miss that? I haven't looked at tapings spoilers for once, if that's the origin. Just going by the official announcements.

Weird choice to leave until the final four reveal, if that's the case. But then even though I anticipate a surprise entrant, it's not like the last four would all be surprises. Guess there's some detritus left.

Yes, this was from the latest tapings. I guess I technically spoiled it since WWE had not yet announced them as participants. Sorry for the spoiler.
