Post by JML » Thu Jan 14, 2016 2:58 pm

Made a new thread for 2016 and here's one of the best moments from last night's show.

When she first got sent to NXT she couldn't emote to save her life, now she plays her role well

Amazing how being in developmental has helped someone develop as a talent.

Eva Marie is an absoloute joy to watch. Masterful example of making the most out of so little from Ward & Levesque.

I'll go as far and say Eva was the highlight of the show for me. She even took a pretty awesome bump over the top rope.

Expect a climb down from Meltzer on the Wolves to NXT thing.

Dave posted on the board in regards to the Wolves/Rovert stuff

Everything on the Wolves is on the money. I'll leave it at that.

The tweet was in reference to NXT. However, after that tweet, TNA offered him more than WWE.

WWE's offers are really low. This was explained on last night's show.

Pop TV is a barter deal. There may be some ad revenue but Kurt's high six figure deal and another couple of cuts opens up room for 12 deals at $60,000 on the current budget.

This stuff about TNA and ROH going to WWE has become tiresome. It's obvious what the deal is with all these stories. I would only get ezcited if people were truly leaving for WWE/NXT. I guess something to credit pwinsider for is the fact that they haven't gotten involved with reporting these stories at all.

The message here with all these stories regarding ROH and TNA names and the current situation with the New Japan talents is that WWE clearly feela there are names worth spending money on and names who are not woeth over spending for.

Firstly Hobbes I told you in the past to contact me before you post anything the F4W forum about first.

Yeah treat ROH or TNA jumps to NXT as primarily contract leverage stories. Amazed how much credence Meltzer gave to the American Wolves to NXT. It was never, ever going to happen no matter what backtrack or claim Meltzer made tonight or going forward.

I don't to be "that guy" but Meltzer has been really played recently. The Observer this week especially.

They really are using Eva Marie in the best role possible for her. The segment with Jax and the battle royal stuff was all great.

I'm very curious to see if Bayley can get a good match out of Carmella. The latter has certainly improved a lot over the last few months, but the dynamic between the two is pretty uncertain and unless they turn Carmella (don't think they should), this could be a very big test for Bayley and how good she is without a good opponent or certain crutches where the opponent isn't good.

I would think Bayley/Carmella wouldn't be too much of an issue seeing as they seem to be pretty close, so they've probably worked out how matches against each other would go.

These stories have been whacky. I mean did anybody ever think there was a chance guys like Michael Elgin or Kyle O'Reilly would make the move to WWE when it's common knowledge that they love Japan?

Hobbes I want to make a bet

Bare in mind I knew about AJ, Anderson and to a lesser extent Nakamura months in advance.

I also you know three names at the February NXT tryout.

None are the Wolves or Tessa Blanchard.
