Yeah that was one of the best tag finishes I have seen in the WWE system.

I really enjoyed the Jason Jordan and Chad Gable tag team, I think they're going to be a hit.

JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER IN A WWE RING! Holy Shit!

Sorry everybody for being a mark but man I am shocked that he's gonna be at Takeover.

I loved that Baron Corbin segment almost as much as I've hated everything else he's done over the past year.

Firstly, they've added something to his character that isn't "wins squashes without getting over". He's a no-nonsense ass-kicker with a background of athletic success (To say this success is overstated is quite nitpicky—there's rings, there's photos of him in sports gear, just suspend your disbelief!) He's a "lone wolf" because he doesn't respect any of his peers, or value the "real wrestling" of NXT.

It's a pretty smart repositioning of Corbin—take the things that aren't working about him and turn them into attributes. Fans don't care about him? Turn him into a heel who doesn't give a shit about the fans either. Can't wrestle? Well, he doesn't care about wrestling, and considers himself above it. Not as good as the indie stars coming up through NXT? He doesn't respect their accomplishments, in fact he has active disdain for them.

This probably isn't going to lead to classic matches and I don't think a Lesnar-lite is going to move business dramatically for NXT, but they're getting the most they can out of him as a wrestler and character—which is what booking should be trying to do with everyone.

I'm on record as saying this Corbin thing is going to work. So we'll see.

Joe seems like the absolute worst opponent they could put him against though. First Dempsey, then Rhyno, now Joe. Can we start going up the speed ladder instead of down it? Corbin needs someone to make him look good, obviously he does and that guy needs to be small and quick.

Enjoyed the womens match. How long has Charlotte been doing the Flair flop? It did feel like a 'goodbye' of sorts at the end.

Also, does Samoa Joe really need to be in squash matches? Surprised he's still using the muscle buster.

Apparently from the tapings results, they are building to Joe vs Corbin for Takeover.

Charlotte/Sasha was a very fun main event. I also really liked Corbin's newfound hatred for indy darlings HHH marks for.

Charlotte/Sasha wasn't as great as their previous two matches, but it was still very good, like ***3/4. Strong finish.

Sasha is a big player in the ballon d'or race.

Just seeing Sami Zayn on the show this week and the reaction showed what a big blow it's been to have him out of action.

Until proven otherwise, Sami Zayn is still the best babyface in the world to me. Dude is just so damn likable and has this way of garnering sympathy where you can't help but root for him. Losing him really took steam out of NXT because for so long that was really "his" brand.

He was the best babyface in the world under a mask speaking jibberish. Then he takes off the mask and he's as likable a dude as ever and he's able to show off a diverse array of emotions. He's a special talent that will be unfuckupable on the main roster because he can job out and still be super over and lose no momentum.

The war is here, brothers.
And Samoa Joe is probably headlining against ROH. 2015 is a weird year in wrestling.

As much war as it is. It's not really a war, when NXT can just walk over ROH like nothing.
