PWG will be releasing both nights of All Star Weekend 11 on BLU-RAY in addition to DVD. Surprised they didn't do this for BOLA, but a lovely step up!

Ring of Honor Enters Agreement with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla

New Partnership with PWG rewards California fans with ROH/PWG Action

(BALTIMORE, MD) – Ring of Honor Wrestling announced today that they’ve entered into a strategic agreement with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla that enables exclusively contracted stars to compete on a select number of PWG shows per year in California.

ROH and NJPW have been developing a significant global relationship for the past two years and now ROH will work with PWG on the west coast of the United States. “PWG is a fantastic company in California that both our fans and stars have always been passionate about,” said Joe Koff. As we continue to grow the ROH brand and enter into exclusive agreements with our talent, we want all fans to continue enjoying the performance of the ROH stars in PWG. This alliance is great for both of our companies, the talent, and most importantly – The FANS.”

With this agreement, wrestling fans can look forward to seeing stars such as Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, The Young Bucks, etc. compete at PWG shows, demonstrating to the West Coast why Ring of Honor is the best wrestling on the planet.

Really great news. I wonder if this will lead to PWG regulars getting some exposure in ROH. After so many years of WWE dominating the landscape it's great to see wrestling promotions capable of cooperation.

Oh great, the drones are back to PWG... Hopefully Excalibur and SD come to sense and start bringing over Castle, Daniels and Kazarian (nostalgia purposes) instead of all the discount Bryan Danielsons.

The January 2nd card is out, and this will NOT be where Zack Sabre Jr. takes his title shot...

PWG WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Roderick Strong (c) vs. Chris Hero
Akira Tozawa vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
Adam Cole vs. Mike Bailey
Drew Galloway vs. Jack Evans
Sami Callihan vs. Trevor Lee
Drew Gulak vs. Timothy Thatcher
Angelico vs. Brian Cage

This might be the best card on paper that they've ever put on.

The Ospreay matches on both nights were the highlight for me.

Still processing the GW match. Somewhat bothered at the Roddy/Candice stuff. Getting soft or old...

Figure Galloway/Evans will be a lot like Hero/Evans from Bola.

Tozawa vs. Sabre put this over the top for me.

Roddy vs Hero is something I've been really waiting for

Hyped beyond belief for Tozawa vs ZSJ

Cole vs Bailey should be a ton of fun

Obviously no Kyle O'Reilly or The Young Bucks on this January 2nd card due to Wrestle Kingdom X. A card full of singles matches is really interesting. I'm actually very intrigued to see how Drew Gulak vs. Timothy Thatcher plays out in front of that crowd in Reseda. Out of all the "grapplefuck" matches, Gulak/Thatcher seems to the combination that people dislike the most.

Wonder if it means they don't expect ZSJ to be long for availability.

Or ROH is the company that paid for Zack's work visa. Since apparently he's not leaving NOAH full time, just focusing on America and Europe in 2016.

From what I've heard, at least, that's not the case.

Yeah I don't know anything except he's IS moving the US. I really pressed people about it and how he's able to VISA but a lot of people in the dark or convincingly kayfabing.

But I really don't think ROH has anything to do with it at all. Someone reliable told me half in jest that ROH doesn't know who he is.

Him in the crowd Asuka style at Takeover today wouldn't shock me. As he's kept so quiet. After the success of the UK tour NXT hiring him would an even more solid idea.
