I guess the big question is what talents will be available to work a lot of these Mania week shows. Here are the early lists for MLW and WrestleCon.

Putting aside ROH and WWE, you basically have 3/4 different locations running spread out between Jersey, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. WWN looks like they're going to focus on using a lot of international talent to augment their regulars. Not sure what promotions will be at Wrestlecon and what other groups are working with GCW. It's unclear where Nova Pro is running and if there's another location (or more) going to be announced.SuperplexlariatBW wrote: ↑Tue Sep 25, 2018 7:29 pmI guess the big question is what talents will be available to work a lot of these Mania week shows. Re: WrestleMania 35 Weekend (NYC Metro Area)
I think it's a question of what other top indie talents are going to sign with WWE between now and then. It's an on going problem and that why groups are going with more of a Lucha influence these days or why it seems go be more of an in thing for promotions to feature lower carders from the 90's-early 00's. Sure PCO may have reinvented himself, but he's still someone in his early 50's. You know problems are developing when companies are relying on the likes of Dreamer and the Hurricane for star power or the undercard from the Nitro and Thunder era.mlev76 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 25, 2018 8:50 pmPutting aside ROH and WWE, you basically have 3/4 different locations running spread out between Jersey, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. This seems to indicate that JJSB 3 will not be a midnight show this year and it will go head to head with Joey Ryan's Penis Party.
Also, ISW was announced as having a show at the Collective:

Re: WrestleMania 35 Weekend (NYC Metro Area)
Janela show went so long/late last year that it hurt Janela's own match, and "New York" seems like it's going more spread out (more travel time) than New Orleans, so moving it to a normal time seems like a smart move.
I would personally probably prefer someone running a normal show during this time slot as an opposite play, but I suspect I'd be pretty lonely going to it. These shows both will do well.
I am also willing to listen to offers to host a "luchablog watches the Friday night CMLL matches on his phone" show

Lots of updates on new shows and times. WWN has officially issued their schedule and locations.
This is a good visual of the various locales (minus MLW which is running Queens). When I have some time, I'll probably note the closest public transportation to each locale.
Re: WrestleMania 35 Weekend (NYC Metro Area)
They're definitely stacking up this show to get people to get past the awful name and gimmick. Good chance these guys will wrestle on other shows that weekend, so still not sold.

Re: WrestleMania 35 Weekend (NYC Metro Area)
I'm looking to offload some 'Mania Weekend tickets. I have one for each of the following:
- WrestleCon SuperShow (Thursday April 4th)
- SHIMMER (Friday April 5th)
- WWN SuperShow: Mercury Rising 2018 (Friday April 5th)
I also have a ticket for WWN's After Party....thing....on Saturday April 6th, which will apparently feature "three hours of matches" (according to the More Than Mania website). If you're interesting in any of these tickets, feel free to send me a direct message here on the forums. You can also reach out to me via DM on Twitter, @SASedor2994.
