Good weekends of Pro Wrasslin

Post by Ckkj14 » Wed Jan 24, 2018 7:43 pm

This weekend is one to enjoy as a wrestling fan. Some fantastic matches coming up and the Royal Rumble will always be a favourite of mine. We have

Almas v Gargano
Cole v Black
Omega v White
Bucks v Roppongi 3k
Suzuki v Tanahashi
Rollins and Jordan v The Bar
Men and Womens Rumbles

Enjoy folks!

There is also HARASHIMA vs. Shuji Ishikawa in DDT, which could be incredible, a secret Beyond show, and a STACKED Progress card featuring Banks vs. TK Cooper and WALTER vs. Thatcher. Big weekend.

How do you have a secret wrestling show?

Beyond has been doing this for years, and I will never understand the point.

It's not like the old school secret shows. Date and location are known, no card (like a PWG Mystery Vortex)

Gotcha. So its not that weird shit they used to do in a basement where the other wrestlers were the crowd?

Beyond is still sitting on a lot of unreleased footage from that era.

They're running the Wrestle Factory in the afternoon before Takeover. So, depending on your subscription status, you could watching New Beginning in the morning, Beyond in the afternoon and NXT at night.

Yeah, when I said secret I forgot that they did actual secret shows in the beginning, haha. They've announced some of the talent but overall, the card is secret.

It's the first time running Philadelphia. I don't really like that they baited people (including me) into buying a ticket, but it's sold out. Hope it delivers.

Chance the rapper did this gimmick with Uber in Chicago where he did a secret show and you entered a code and the uber came and took you there. THIS would be some next level experiential marketing for wrestling. Maybe VOW sponsor LYFT could get involved.
