Don't get too fast of an erection now, Rich. I know that'll blow away Cena vs. Punk, but calm yourself down.

If they get Styles/Owens, I think they put this on before and let that Main Event.

I think this could open the show actually. Is it it really more important to anyone with a finger on the pulse than Zayn vs. Corbin, Usos vs. New Day, Owens vs. Styles, and Ziggler vs. Nakamura?

Two thoughts on the show based on last night's Smackdown:

1) Putting aside the question of whether they should have chosen Jinder at all, they have done a very good job of building him up to seem credible. When you consider where he was pre-Mania, it's clear that mechanism to make someone, anyone into a legit contender is very much still available if and when they choose to use it. Imagine where someone who wasn't a just above prelim guy would be if they were put in the same spot.

2) Based on the hype, potential quality and advertising, it's clear that the title match is at best the third most important match on the show (behind AJ/Owens and Nakamura/Ziggler) and potentially fourth most important depending on your feelings on the state of the Women's division.

BIngo. Which is why the outrage about Jinder getting a title shot seemed so weird to me. It's a Point A to Point B match, that's all. I'd much rather random challengers emerge from time-to-time versus getting the same title matches over and over again. Plus, being in Chicago, WWE smartly made sure to give the crowd plenty to sink their teeth into with AJ/Owens and Nak/Ziggler. I have no issues whatsoever and as we're getting closer and closer to the show, I'm contemplating if I should go or not (haven't missed a WWE PPV in Chicago in quite some time)

Pretty solid show on paper and likely getting Zayn/Corbin and maybe one more match to round it all out.

There are numerous names that'd better benefit in the position on the roster and turn it into a full-time move up the card.

Orton against a heel Aries in Chicago? Fucking Christ would that match be hot.
