As we always say, WrestleMania isn't about matches anymore, it's moments. Will Goldberg vs. Lesnar be good? Probably not. Will it be a memorable moment? Absolutely.

As mlev76 said too, it's a completely different dynamic. That was a small, smart-fan arena that knew both men had a foot out of the door. The circumstance this year are wildly different in terms of crowd size, crowd dynamic, performers' desire, future plans, etc, etc.

Other than it being the same two guys, there is really nothing linking the two matches.

I agree with what you & mlev76 have said. I just have a bad feeling about it.

I'm at the point where i compare manias to the last one and i gotta say, more pumped for this year than last year. Shane vs. Taker was a terrible story and a pretty shit match besides the one huge spot. AJ would have to snap his leg in half to have a worse match. The Cruiserweights will outdo that IC ladder match of last year pretty easily and the big matches for the most part are better booked this year. Bray/Orton and KO/Jericho over any single built feud at Mania last year and its not even close.

If Brock vs Goldberg is anything passable and Roman can carry dead weight to decent match, then it will be a good show imo

John Pollock from the LAW - I trust him:

What all the girls on the RAW brand say "If you aren't a 4HW they (management) don't care about you" continues to ring true.

Pretty much pointless for Nia to destroy Sasha for a few months, just to not even get on the show

This Wrestlemania also doesn't look it will built and booked off pure and utter spite for its fans either

There's several long running stories that are coming to a head at mania. Orton/Wyatt has been building for months, whatever Seth/Trips will be has had a long and pretty decent build, Owens/Jericho... etc.

Sure, there's plenty of flaws in this card and my personal opinion of having Brock/Goldberg main event.. i think its trash and will take a miracle to be any good.. The tag divisions are forgotten (but that was the case last year too) I don't want AJ vs. Shane either but its the biggest match he can have....unfortunately, for a big match, its been terribly built...(same as the last Shane match)

Its a mixed bag but I still this card has the makings of blowing last year's card out of the water. That's all i ask for.
