Delighted for him, whichever roster he ends up on. He gets to work on (potentially) the biggest stage in America for a few years, then he'll surely have the opportunity to transition into a trainer/agent/whatever role when he eventually retires.

My selfish side is gonna miss the hell out of his weekly four-star matches on the indies though. What a year he's had.

A god damn shame. I'll miss him and his fantastic matches a Hell of a lot if this comes to fruition.

Good for him, from all appearances (which could be wrong) he seems like one of the good guys. And judging from his cheap heat podcast appearance, he always wanted a second chance.

Less reputable people than Rovert are saying he's going to the main roster. Any idea if this is legit, or just false scoops?

Personally was told he was keeping "Chris Hero".

Outside of people who didn't own the rights to their names (like Dorada/Sombra), WWE doesn't seem to be asking anyone who's made their name elsewhere to change their names now. I can think of Biff Busick/Oney Lorcan and not much else. It's hard to wrap my mind around how much of a shift has been made in a short time, but Hero getting brought back is really big sign of it.

This is good to hear, especially since he got a raw deal with how he was let go the last time. Now with this signing does this create room for at least one overdue call up from NXT to the main roster?

Satin made up the Kassus Ohno thing out of thin air for hitz. There's ZERO to it. ZERO.

Shocked at the lack of talk the signing of Heidi and Kimber Lee got this week in terms of WWE changing their standards. Both being female signees with non-model looks and covered in tattoos. But I guess people are just being kind or embracing it and shaking off how the Johnny Ace conditioned them to think.

Would love to know if Biff Busick's name change is down to Vince having heat still with Big Bully Busick or something.

Considering that his 2016 resume has been compared to peak Flair and Danielson, how about this?

Cancel the likely NXT title change from Nakamura to Roode. Instead, Roode (along with Joe) graduate in the Rumble.

In what is the champion's NXT swan song, Nakamura is dethroned by Hero at Takeover ORL.

Really happy for him; sad though my last two dream matches for him, vs Keith Lee and vs Osprey, won't happen

Hope he gets a hefty pay rise from his last run. Certainly couldn't happen to a more deserving guy, though like everybody I've loved him playing the role of the independent scene big brother to all these younglings coming up.

Progress and PWG both have a great opportunity to give him the best sendoff possible. Doubt we'll see him vs. Keith Lee but him vs. Ospreay is still very much on the table.

Any bets on how long this run will last? I can see it being a short term thing but it could really go either way, especially if this is one of those "let's get him so noone else can" kind of signings.

Ospreay is booked for OTT the day after Mystery Vortex so I don't think he's on that show and Hero's booked for AAW on the 30th so we won't be getting that Ospreay/Hero match anytime soon by the looks of it sadly.
