What if the Bulls and/or Blackhawks still have playoff games that night?
Couldn't care less about the Blackhawks and Bulls, yeah, they are my primary team but I'm not missing this for the world.

Ring of Honor running more PPVs this year then unless they're dropping one at another time. Signs that the ones they have been running have been deemed successful internally I'd assume.

I didn't hear anything in regards to that. I know they didn't run August/September like they usually do in Toronto because of the bloody Panam games. If anything I'd think they'd make MORE money in Toronto with how bad our dollar is right now.

He's been pretty consistently booked in EVOLVE. I'd imagine that is where he stays.

Guaranteed to become Lethal & J-Diesel vs. The Young Bucks after five minutes.
I don't see that happening this time around. I think Nick Jackson gets a World TV Title shot against Roderick Strong. It fits the "Roddy vs. The World" gimmick, and you can hype this show around not only three title matches (the two singles plus War Machine vs. Guns & Gallows), but also The Young Bucks chasing singles gold.

With the benefit of hindsight, the Eight-Man Tag from Asheville the night before pretty much confirms that Roderick Strong vs. Nick Jackson in a World TV Title Match is happening.

14th Anniversary news

Observer:
The original plan was Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Dalton Castle, which was to be a major match for Castle. He could have had a super spectacle of a match with Nakamura. Even though he’d almost surely lose, he could come out of it with people taking him as a top guy instead of a very entertaining underneath guy.

There will be two new additions to be announced shortly from New Japan to make up for Nakamura, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows being off the show. I believe one of them will be Hirooki Goto.

I was told pretty much the entire show had to be redone due to the three not being there.

Tomohiro Ishii’s U.S. debut will be on the show. At one point they were looking at Ishii vs. Elgin in a rematch of their great G-1 match.

WWE was very specific that they didn’t want A.J. Styles, Nakamura, Anderson or Gallows to work for ROH going forward, although didn’t go so far as to tell Anderson & Gallows to stiff ROH on the January dates already announced. It had not been announced yet that Anderson & Gallows were scheduled for the Anniversary PPV and TV tapings as part of the New Japan contingent, although Nakamura had been advertised. Styles had already asked off future ROH dates before going to Japan and giving notice.
