Wow that Elgin/ReDRagon vs The Kingdom match was really good stuff. Elgin was great in this match and it actually sounded like the crowd was behind him a bit. Elgin working face in that match played out well.

Interestingly enough, Elgin vs. Taven has been booked for the upcoming show in Hopkins, Minnesota.

I am going to be at the MN event. I am really excited for that triple threat main event.

Nice. Now they need to bring back Low Ki, Jack Evans and Shelley. Take it back to 06.

There's a part of me that wants Aries back in Gabeland for matches with Ricochet, Busick, & co, but I'll take a ROH return. Lots of big matches that can come of this, especially with New Japan coming over in August.

Awaiting comments from the Mecca about ROH being the TNA reject company...

So what's the chances of Aries being the 4th man in KRD?

With Aries returning on the 17th, hopefully he gets booked for Death Before Dishonor as well. Would really make my night.

How random...they just added ODB vs. NANAE TAKAHASHI for the Vegas show.

Back at Mania weekend when Gabe had Strong team with Aries, I was high on the idea of Aries, Strong and Sabin as a heel group either in EVOLVE or ROH. Then Strong turned on him.

Trouble with this situation is, I think it's more likely ROH use him as a face because their heel side is already stacked, plus Lethal needs viable challengers. They're (presumably) already turning Roddy and there's talk of Cole switching too. But Aries could basically come straight in and fill that void for a few months if they wanted.

What makes you think they're turning Roddy?

I don't see Roddy turning anytime soon. He turned on The Decade less than a year ago and right now he's maybe the most over non-NJPW guy on the roster and if not, he's only behind Jay Briscoe. It would be foolish to turn him.

That said, I fully support a Roddy/Aries vs. ACH/Sydal match at some point. That right there...that would be a HOOT.

Aries and Strong vs. Young Bucks also has money written all over it.

Well, to be fair, I'm not even sure what he is at the moment, but he seems to be leaning face in the booking.

Mainly it's the fact he's facing Lethal plus that he was definitely face, or more of a face, when they blew off the Decade feud. Looking at his ROH matches outside of the NJPW shows, they're definitely booking him on the face side more than the heel one. His most high profile singles have been vs Fish, Daniels, Silas and Cole which I think is 3 heels, 1 face (Daniels was a face, so I think Fish was still heel). He's been on Team ROH with Briscoes, Hanson and Rowe and done six mans with both those teams. And the last show he teamed with Briscoes and ODB.

I don't know that he's officially a face right now, but I certainly wouldn't say he's a heel either. And ROH can have guys float in between to some degree. But the fact he won the number one contenders match to face Lethal pretty much has him floating more to the face side by default.
