Sadly I expect the titles to be on whatever team Chris Daniels is on or whatever. Such is ROH these days.

I didn't mean that any of those guys are bad, just that I don't think they have anything in common other than working for CMLL; it doesn't sound like they tag together there at all. I could be wrong though.

They don't team there, but booking random trios as if picked out of a hat instead of keeping set groups together is solidly in CMLL tradition. Okumura always gets sent to Japan to be the CMLL/NJPW liaison, even as far back as Mistico feuding with Tiger mask, so I'd presume he's going to do something similar for ROH. And he's there to take the pin. Hechicero is better than any of the others Guerrero team members who could be in his place, but that's not usually the reason they do things. Hechicero did have a few really good exchanges with Jay White during FantasticaMania, and maybe that's the link here. A bit of a long shot though.

FootOnTheRopes wrote:I don't see how this issue with PCW would affect ROH to the point they would cancel their UK events, especially since the Liverpool Night is sold out and the London show is showing a good amount of sales already.

As usually the hyperbole surrounding ROH goes into over drive and as usual someone has said something first and been given the oh the poor guy, but if ROH were to do this it would be the "office line". Now I'm not one to think that ROH doesn't have issues, it obviously does, it does still manage to get talent from Japan and Mexico and produce a TV and PPV produce while still producing story-lines however poor or contrived people many think they are. Also if anyone knows the stories of ECW producing all of this, it takes a lot of effort, especially still trying to keep money coming in and people happy so their communication can't be such a mess as made out to be. I do find it funny also that seemingly this just happens in ROH and apparently doesn't happen anywhere else.

Overall Is PCW really that relevant to the growth of ROH in the UK? considering the talent that does appear in PCW appears in numerous promotions in the UK and what with NJPW's involvement with Rev Pro it might just be ROH see's a better option through other parties and the talent might well see the same. ROH certainly acted unprofessionally in this matter but is this a major problem, honestly people really try to have this altruistic, professional view of wrestling when it's just a grimy business overall and this happens a lot of times but apparently now it's a massive deal.
Liverpool is not close to sell out.
You are looking at the seating plan wrong. You can only see the couple hundred floor seats. The rest are not shown on the plan. The majority are unsold.
I just put 20 seats in and can still buy a full row easy enough.

Also, to cover costs ROH need to be making £20,000 a show. When PCW was helping they only needed to make £15,000 a show to cover costs as PCW was paying some of the flights costs.
So 350 x £60 tickets? It's possible but lots of effort for little return and is it a risk worth taking? Certainly alarm bells ringing after PCW pulled out and they've not make a single tour mention since.

They have mention the UK Tour doing the update gimmick a few times after the PCW thing happened.

Next week they will have updates on the tour it seems.
