I'd rather not.

You've made it clear today that your opinion on current ROH is the only one that is valid and true. Everyone else is either biased or under my mind control.

Why does Kushida get a title shot after he just lost the ROH Television Championship?

For those interested, our very own Sean Sedor wrote an extensive preview of all the weekend's events: http://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2017/1 ... d-preview/

I'll be at the Chicago (Villa Park) show. Anyone else?

Thanks for sharing Rich! Haven't been as active on the forum in recent months as I would've liked. I learned very fast that real-world jobs make you free time a lot more valuable.

As for the tour, while it's probably one of the weakest "NJPW joint tours" they've done, there's still a lot of good stuff spread across all four nights. I'm not expecting all of the shows to deliver to their highest potential (especially since they're doing four shows on four consecutive days), there should still be a lot of good matches that happen on this tour.

Also, don't know why I didn't notice this earlier, but Hiromu Takahashi is working four singles matches on the tour, which is actually pretty cool to see.

So Pittsburgh Global Wars was an entertaining show but not a great show. It delivered on what I expected it to as a live experience.

Off the bat Mark Briscoe got hurt in the match with Hiromu. I don't know what happened exactly but his elbow looked gross. The match was stopped within a minute I think.

The advertised Best Friends/Addiction match didn't happen for reasons that I don't understand. Best Friends wrestled the Dawgs. It was a good match with some needless Cheeseburger interference that didn't really need to happen. But hey I'm a Poppin Dogs and Talking Hogs guy so I was happy.

Jay White Vs Jay Lethal was probably the best wrestling match on the show. Lots of good back and forth between them two.

3 way tag between the bucks, MCMG, and the Kingdom was an entertaining match and The Bucks and MCMG really worked hard to put on a really good match. Given that ROH is basically a Bullet Club promotion MCMG really has no heat nor are they over as babyfaces despite being a great tag team. They kinda set up a MCMG/Best Friends match afterwards.

The 6 man match to get a title shot at Kenny King's TV title was won by Kenny King. I don't understand the booking there. Kushida totally carried the match as the only person in it that anyone cared about.

Trios WOH match. It was as sloppy as expected but Britt Baker was over huge with the local crowd. Would have just liked to have seen a singles match between Baker and Purrazzo.

War Machine VS KES was good but sloppy.

Suzuki vs Silas Young was pretty much a greatest hits of Suzuki. Davey Boy Jr. interfered. Outside the ring brawling. Chairshots(weak looking). Gotch piledriver for the win. I didn't care though, I just wanted to be there live for a Suzuki entrance and it was everything I wanted it to be.

The main event. Chaos vs the Luxury Club for the ROH trios title. Take a meaningless NJPW undercard 6 man tag and put it in America with Kenny Omega and everyone lost their minds. The crowd was hot for the BC on this one. I felt like I was the lone voice cheering for Ospreay and Chaos. Ospreay did all the work for the Chaos side including a sky high SSP to the outside of the ring. I have no memory of Yoshi-Hashi doing anything. Yano did his normal stuff. Luxury Club wins.

It was great to see all the NJPW guys in person. Seeing The Best Friends was great too.

Mark Briscoe will be out of action for eight to ten weeks, per Dave Meltzer.

I'd agree with this. The show was good, but not great.

Yeah I had fun for the live show experience and thought most of the matches were good to great; the main event kind of irked me in the sense that I was in GA and behind me was this jagoff who was yelling every BTE meme in existence to start obnoxious chants. Then again who am I to judge since this show was catered for him and the rest of the BC fans while I just wanted to meet Suzuki (who was really nice btw) and Hiromu
