The problem is not who doesn't fit the ROH style, the problem is getting talent that are over and will sell tickets. That's ROH now and unfortunately, they haven't put young talent (that's any good) in position to succeed... so bringing in Bully and the Hardys is more of a necessity.

I think the Hardys are going to end up putting over talent - the Young Bucks specifically. I don't expect Bully Ray to be doing much outside of six-man tags or other brawling-style matches (which, again, is a perfect role for him in ROH). I think it was obviously all setting up for Briscoes/Bully vs the Kingdom, prob at BITW, but that might be on hiatus now.

I guess the issue with that is, the Bucks don't really need to be put over.

I kinda feel like the best thing they could do with the Hardys is get somebody else involved in the act. I don't know if them dropping a big match to someone is that big of a deal going forward and I don't know who you'd really do it with anyway and it not be transparent. Where-as if you get someone else involved and basically make them an extension of the Broken Hardys story, even if/when the Hardys are in WWE, you're kinda guaranteeing that person gets a residual reaction at least. Like, in theory, putting someone in the Bullet Club makes them a bigger deal. Granted, I also don't know who you do that with, but I feel like fans are less likely to think "those guys beat the Hardys, thus they're a big deal" than they are "that guy's part of the Hardy gimmick, thus I like him".

These ROH articles with Joe Koff talking about older wrestlers moving on to WWE/other places looks kind of silly with Lio/Dijak etc leaving

My word. I didn't think he would go so soon.

Did we ever find out whose decision if was for Lio to not sign with Evolve after the Yehi match back in the day? Did they offer him a contract and he turned it down, or did they pick Yehi instead of him?

Not surprised after seeing that photo of him at one of the seminars awhile ago. The ROH exodus continues.

Damn. As long as I continue to see Lio in PWG I'm fine though.

Another young talent for ROH.. seems to me they have to go all in with Dalton Castle and try to find a new guy in the meantime.

Meltzer:
While there are rumors going around about a Kenny Omega vs. Adam Cole match on 4/1 in Lakeland, FL, that is not the case. Right now there is no date for that match, but Omega is not on the Lakeland show. The Hardys vs. Young Bucks main event on that show has been changed to a ladder match for the tag team titles.

Omega and Cole are shooting their own angle according to Cole. A New Japan freestyling thing.
