Observer:
Orton may not be at Survivor Series because his wife is expecting a baby girl and she’s due on 11/22, two days after the show. He was given the week off beforehand and was listed to return on 11/29, so as of right now he’s not scheduled for the show.

The Goldberg return match has me super intrigued. It's going to be memorable whatever happens, I'm sure.

Observer:
In addition, Dolph Ziggler will defend the IC title against someone on Raw. Looking at the roster, the names that would seem to make the most sense are Sami Zayn and Rusev.

It's a fantasy book, but I'd love to see Sami win and move to SD. He would fit so comfortably in their main event scene. Although they might need more heels in that space.

So while I'm at it I'd love to see the Ambrose heel turn too. But it's all just a dream...

Certainly more appealing than another Rusev match, who shockingly had nothing special for in-ring chemistry with Ziggler.

I'm liking the looks of these teams; I particularly appreciate their move to get the champs of each division involved. It's been a pretty good build to a great concept.

Now it's just up to them to resist temptation to try and cop-out all of their pins in the name of protection, or to overbook the fact that almost every team has rivals competing on the same side.

Survivor Series matches even at their best are meant to be overbooked, but I'm praying they get the recipe right this year. It's got lots of potential. It also has a great potential to be an awful mess if they lay into their worst habits.

This post sums up pretty much all of my thoughts.

I love a well booked elimination match. I think it's a great way to get over multiple stories and make for a fun match.

But when they are bad, they are really, really bad. And this company can't get out of their own way sometimes.

Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles
Possible start of a dream program for a bigger stage, or just a tease of what could come after next year's draft?

Calling it now the big spot is Roman and Rollins tag in to fight Dean, Dean then tags in AJ and then they triple powerbomb him for the cheap pop moment.
