WOOF. HHH/WWE sent the Cubs a WWE title belt with Cubs plates on it like they do for every champion, and Kris Bryant has been wearing it all over TV today and at the parade. Someone asked him during an interview about it and he goes "I don't even know what this is, somebody gave it to me so I put it on" Not the greatest endorsement.

Although he did go on and on about how awesome it was.

For Royal Rumble weekend in San Antonio, it’s also looking like a destination weekend. Besides the Rumble at the Alamodome on 1/29, and NXT on 1/28 on the WWE Network, there will be a 1/27 Evolve show and a 1/28 afternoon Evolve show, both at the Woodlawn Lake Park Gym, located near the stadium. As far as the Rumble itself goes, the WWE this week has moved the start time of the show to 5:30 p.m. local time, which is 6:30 p.m. Eastern, meaning, as expected a nearly five-hour show

Owens/Balor sounds boring and generic, unsure about Undertaker/Joe, but the rest sound fantastic.

Owens vs. Balor for the Universal Title is a simple story: the champion that had it handed to him vs. the previous champion that earned it the entire way and then was never beaten for it.

Assuming Styles vs. Taker isn't planned for the Rumble, then I have Taker in the actual Royal Rumble match, returning to the city of his lone Rumble match victory to date on its 10th anniversary. I have Joe graduate in the Rumble match and target Taker to kick off the WM33 program.

What would your alternatives be? I like 4-5 marquee matches over just 2 or 3.
