It was a good show but internally, even they were a little disappointed. Things just didn't click on an OMG WHAT AN AWESOME match level. In particular, the Gulak/Hero vs. Gargano/Ciampa match which many came in thinking had MOTY potential just ended up being good. A good show, don't get me wrong and worth your time but don't expect to be re-writing any lists after watching it.

Wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it. Finally convinced the +1 to go (thanks to Moose) and scored some last-minute available front-row tickets. Good day so far :)

Going to be so much fun tonight.

Also wanted to point out a great radio appearance by Dr. Keith recently. He did a great job in not only hyping up AAW's upcoming shows, but just painting a good picture of Illinois wrestling and pro wrestling in general.

Tonight's show looks decent. Hero/Young should be good. Callihan/Ricochet could be pretty good. Ciampa/Evans is either going to be a blast or really, REALLY rough (not really a fan of Evans).

Wish I could be there.

Posts got lost in the ether, but the May show has already sold near 500 tickets, and is down to standing room only.

Tonight's Take No Prisoners show at 115 Bourbon Street is, according to Dr. Keith Lipinski, the biggest advance in AAW history, and probably the largest attendance in AAW history - bearing in mind it's five days after a WWE PPV locally, and two days before a joint ROH/NJPW show in the market, very impressive.

AAW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sami Callihan (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa
Fenix vs. Pentagon Jr.
AAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett (c) vs. AR Fox & Moose
Juice Robinson vs. Michael Elgin
Silas Young vs. Donovan Dijak
Candice LeRae vs. Jessicka Havok
Chuck Taylor, Colt Cabana & Dan Barry vs. Bucky Collins & The Hooligans (Devin Cutter & Mason Cutter)
Heidi Lovelace vs. Kimber Lee

600+ is the number Keith and others have said. It wasn't but 2-3 years ago where you could pretty much sit wherever you wanted in the Eagles Club. So happy for their success.

AAW is slowly looking like a midwest PWG, always has a STACKED line up, but one thing they do better than PWG is how fast they get out their VODS!

Card for the next show is:

OI4k vs. Outlaw Inc.

Hooligans vs. Fitchet and Vega (c) for the titles

LOL, why did you say Outlaw Inc? Homicide coming in was an "eh" for me, but then you had to remind me of that awful ROH tag team run.

Thing is for me, I love both wrestlers but together they did not mesh well. They had the worst tag match in the history of reDRagon which hurt me to watch haha.
