This is a a fairly minimalist yet bloody bar fight built primarily on punches and stomps but every single punch and stomp seems to matter so much. And the ending matches the bar fight feel perfectly by having Kox and Murdoch come across as two old drunken crazy pugilists who will let nothing stop them from tearing each other apart. Nothing is filler and the brawling makes the presence of any "big" moves, such as the brainbuster or calf branding, feel like huge pillars in the match. This will definitely be on my ballot as a beauty of simple yet smart match structuring & brawling.

Kox punches hard, Murdoch punches hard. They are attempting to beat one another down with strikes, but they surround the strikes with a sturdy structure that gives the strokes more meaning. A contender for my list.
