My favorite part of FSMG is how every contestant gives a little self depreciating speech at some point to lower expectations of their performance.

This is the first episode where I'm not convinced I could've beaten either contestant. I was surprised how much I don't know about Mania cards pre-2000.

I would've gotten slaughtered. But for the opposite reason. Everything is a cluster to me past WrestleMania 10, I would've gotten literally everything wrong.

The Mania state and one time main eventers should have been all in questions for either guy.

I think the belief is that if you show a little modesty and don't come off as too confident, it will help alleviate the sting when you fuck up during the game. Of course that's what it's supposed to do. I'm still kicking myself over missing Washington. Curse my hubris!

Rich is 0-2...but for years would tout how many times he and the squad would win in the trivia contest at The Squared Circle. Guess Rich was the WEAK LINK.

I wouldn't have won against either here, I don't think, only because after WrestleMania X7, I have no idea about anything. Like Joe, its just a fucking cluster of mindlessness after that, for me.

However, the long term storyline of Rich on the 5*MG is hilarious.

The best narrative is for Rich to keep losing here. He can be the HONMA of the 5*MG.

Rich's strength of schedule is pretty ridiculous. Nobody was beating Alan that day and this category was the Andrew Rich wheelhouse.

Best one so far. Really enjoy the DLM style bidding names part of these games.
