I'm absolutely gutted that I haven't been able to do the audio. I miss it a lot, but life is beating the shit out of me and I genuinely don't know right now how the fuck i'm going to find the time to return.

How about you stop being a little bitch and make time.

Fuck your other "responsibilities".

Get to work, Lanza.

"What's going on?"

"No clue, you?"

"None."

I mean, we could lie and say we knew what was going on?

Nah, I just thought it was funny.

Edit: Though I guess you could have talked about Shuji winning the title as a freelancer and what that might mean, given he said earlier in the year AJPW was gonna be a priority for him. But AJPW is something I expect more from Burning Spirits than you guys.

I wish I could follow AJPW more than I do but there's a finite amount of time in the day/week so some things have to get pushed to the side. I've been somewhat out of the loop with the company so I don't have a strong thought really on Shuji winning. I'm not sure if it was a great move, good move, reactionary move, etc. so we'll have to see how it plays out. I'm sure the Burning Spirits guys will dive in deep on it this week.

I can't begrudge you guys, given how much WWE stuff you already have to follow for the site whereas I can just consume puro in a mindless gorge-fest from all angles. That said, I'm kind of excited for it personally. Having an outsider hold the belt at this point for the company isn't harmful, and when you take into account Ishikawa can go and is a reasonable draw in the Tokyo market then it makes sense to use him as a bridge between Miyahara and a succeeding champion. Though if this just leads to Miyahara getting the belt back at Sumo Hall I'm gonna have to go back and listen to one of Lanza's rants about Okada and how being the ace means you beat everyone to get the irritation out of my system*.

*Dunno, I feel like Zeus's time has to be coming soon.

No AJPW talk on Burning Spirits this week unfortunately. We wanted to wait until the match airs to talk about it so we can get a clearer picture going forward. Also, we forgot about it when we were recording.

I don't think he's dumb enough to leave. If anyone's at risk it's Jake Lee.

Loved the Fire Pro talk. I've been playing since 6 man scramble on Sega Saturn and to me it is the best wrestling series ever (TheTHQ N64 games are a close second). As a PS4 owner and someone who doesn't play on pc, I am actually thinking the way to get the new Fire Pro is on pc. Something tells me the ability to download more moves and wrestlers will be more accessible on the pc than on a console. The modding ability of that game could be a game changer if someone figures out how to do it on pc. The only disappointing news about this Fire Pro is that there is not a ladder match mode. Not deal breaking but I was hoping for some new game modes for this release.
