In the debut episode of Music of the Mat, Chris (@werestillsoup) and Andrew (@AndrewTRich) discuss their shared love of pro wrestling music and what they have planned for the podcast. They also get into their five favorite and least favorite themes. Which ones made the list? Which ones didn’t? And which theme almost gave Chris a mental breakdown?

I also thought it was him screaming Xpac at the beginning of his song except I didn't realize that until now during this podcast.

That's what we're here for.

Also, I'm sorry.

As I just noted on Twitter, I'm going to love this show.

Anyone else as a kid freak out due to not knowing the concept of catalog production music, and hearing say the Hardy Boyz theme on a random infomercial?

I remember hearing Crash Holly's theme in a commercial or in some movie.

YES, I specifically remember the Hardyz theme and Hardcore Holly's original theme being on random commercials. The Usos first theme was also on a commercial.

Production Library music is something we're definitely going to discuss at some point, great topic.

Dodgeball! It was used in the girl scouts intro scene. The director wasn't aware of it on the DVD commentary though. To him it was just production music they found.

Came for the Andrew Rich Slack famous puns, stayed for the chill vibe. Enjoyed this a lot.

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words from everyone today.

We'll be posting a feedback thread soon where everyone can post their thoughts on all of The Undertaker's themes for the next episode.

Loved the episode and the concept, but I feel there was a missed opportunity here to talk about your themes. Because lets face it we all have a theme we would use.

We will most definitely discuss this on a later episode!

We have a ton of stuff planned. Didn't want to cram too much into episode 1, we went way longer than we originally thought we would anyway.
