the AV Club and AfterBuzz people cover wrestling, and they're fans but they're not, say obsessive Observer subscribers or following the intricacies of indy wrestling. They're not, say, a guest like a Todd Martin or Dylan Hales, both of whom we've had

Markeia barely watches shows she doesn't have to host, etc.

I enjoy when guests like Markeia are on the show cause it gives a gage of what casual wrestling fans actual like. It was sort of the charm of Talking Sheet on how people not in the bubble viewed wrestling.

this is more or less the brand strategy, so to speak

Keep it up with the universe takes. It's a good counter-balance to my deep bubble VOW, place to be, and wrestling with words listening.

I mean, you guys can only have so much time in the evening to cover five live hours of wrestling that usually delivers, what, maybe an hour of good quality?

Didn't think I would enjoy the interviews with Mark Maxwell and Chris Jay but they were good. Reminded of the Figure Four Daily Interviews that I had no interest in but loved by the end.

What should happen with this "rob eating a hat" gimmick

keep in mind we need to wait until after the drug tests come back, lest a NC be declared :)

He should take a year long suspension from the show. Indefinite would be cool too...

Yeah, I can't imagine the whole eating a hat thing comes off well. Make him eat a piece of it or something. At least that way it will be humorous.

Thought my second "solo" cast was fine, moderately entertaining, lacked the issues of recording with earbuds in a closet in Scottsdale :)

It was fine.

It's harder than people think it is to talk to yourself for an hour.

On iTunes, 185 is listed under Voices of Wrestling instead of Shake Them Ropes.

Rob was harsh on Dean Ambrose here, out of nowhere. I don't think Ambrose needs The Shield but I do think Ambrose needs a change. Heel turn being the most obvious path and one of least resistance.
