I literally just came on here to post that.
I'm also totally with you on the Elgin-Takahashi match, as weird as that match is I think the two of them could actually have good chemistry together.[/quote]
I think either way that match will be a spectacle! Also Yall don't fux with cosplay?

I'm with Joe as well. Kojima is great! I was really excited for his G1 Climax matches last year, and I'm excited for them again this year. Can't wait!Robareid wrote:Satoshi Kojima is fucking awesome Joe, I'm totally with you.

Im totally with Joe on the taking less money for convenience thing. What's the point of working yourself to death to make money to spend on what exactly?

Depends where you are in your life. While I absolutely agree with the general point he's making (I'll always take pleasure over money) but an extra 30k when you're trying to buy a house and get married is pretty nice.AndyItwaru wrote:Im totally with Joe on the taking less money for convenience thing. I've taken many jobs that were for less money because I knew I'd enjoy it more and that's ultimately whats important. Of course, right now as we speak, I'll take the extra 30k if I could ha.

Trust me, I agree with Joe's point in general. I've never been motivated by money other than the fact that it grants some level of security. I don't want a big house, I don't want a bunch of shit, I just want to wake up every day not worrying about finances.
Regardless, yeah, always pleasure over money when it comes to job. Except when you want to buy a house and need a flood of $$$ haha.
Thanks for listening as always man

Oh it's my pleasure man love the show! Im so over WWE right now and I love the japan and indy coverage. Also my podcasting fan wish is to somehow get Joe Lanza and Parv from the titans of wrestling podcast to have a formal debate, and hopefully if I keep wishing it into existence it will manifest somehow.

Hey I'm waiting in line at Dairy Queen right now and there's a mom asking a child what kind of Blizzard he wants. It's cool.

Satoshi Kojima is one of my favorite wrestlers in the company. I've loved him since I saw him for the first time in WKV against Tanahashi. Right then, I knew that man was a badass. To find out he was in nWo Japan and see his earlier up to and including his title wins in All Japan and New Japan made him one of my all time favorites.
To me, he gave the NWA title some credibility after so long (and I say this as both a big Rob Conway mark and understanding the belt is still a shadow of what it was) and throughout his feud with NWA, I loved his intensity in the ring and on promos. That and his legit honor in meeting Harley Race made me respect the man for giving a half a crap about a feud that some would feel was beneath them.
Mr. Lanza has it right when he said the man was underrated. Dare I say he would have had one hell of a career in North America.

A thought from outside the ring regarding this Sunday's Battleground PPV. Tell me if this scenario makes sense to you. John Cena loses the US Championship belt to Kevin Owens, and The Beast Brock Lesnar captures the WWE Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins. This would free up Cena to challenge Lesnar in a role reversal rematch of Cena's beat down at last year's SummerSlam. Interesting idea let me know what you think?

Joes epic "Fuck" tirade about grocery shopping got me some heat from the old lady, when we were driving with my boy. Apparently she frowns on any "fucks" that she doesn't deliver.
Thanks Joe Lanza!

That 30k more of a job probably looks better on a resume too. I'm all for cashing those checks when you're young. The closer you get to retirement, start thinking about comfortability.

Money is great, we all need money, but I'd rather be happy. I should get paid more for what I do: highly educated, degree, certifications, licenses, save lives, put out fires, etc. But, I don't get paid what I deserve and as much as that sucks I've learned to live within my means because doing what I do leaves me feeling really happy with my life.
